Did you see what happened to Fisher last night. Talk about a double slap in the face for the Blue Jays. He had his eye on the ball....literally😜 They traded for his legs and forgot to ask about his hands

Maybe Fisher will graduate to making the mlb.com error page gif. Anyone else remember this one?

If I ever played in the majors, that would be my only shot at a home run.

Can you imagine sitting around the table in a cafe and the waitress asks what happened to your eye. I wonder how many at the table would laugh their ass off.

I remember seeing a ball bounce off a guy’s head and over the fence for a home run years ago. I think it was Canseco.

Tony kemp does a backflip in Chicago game. I didn't even know he could do that! I really think of all the players we shipped out in the past week or so that Kemp will be the most successful (not including prospects)

With Pressly and Peacock coming back this team it's just going to get better and better..
Peacock is going to the pen.... Maybe McHugh should go on the IL...

Going to the IL makes more sense than cutting him loose. He may take a great and remember how to pitch like he did the first part of last year again.

Peacock will replace someone in the pen. They will also have some decisions to make when Pressly and James are ready. Pressly automatically gets his spot back.but, James could go to RR. I wish they would let Rondon go.

He became a solid bullpen guy the last year or so.

It is a real tough call to figure out who to not have on the 25 man roster when Peacock and Pressley come back. Stubbs goes back down for sure so that takes care of the first one but who the heck goes down or onto the IL then for the other. A lot of us thought that Devenski was done for but he seems to be figuring it out again and showed some moxie by pitching the ninth of the no hitter. So yeah some body has got to go the IL for a little RR before August 31. McHugh sounds good to me.

Anyone think it's strange that Rondon had his 4 best season (3.53 ERA and under) when he was mostly a closer and his 3 worst seasons (all over 4 ERA) when he didn't record any saves that season?

the only way we trust Rondon in a save situation this year if it is the last of the 15th inning and all the other guys are used up.

When it comes to relievers, I wouldn't use ERA. I'd use Inherited runners scored/Inherited runners.

A bit of good news last night. The A's lost. 9 games back now. To give an idea of how daunting their task to pass us is......
If we simply finish the season with .500 play (fat chance)
The A's would have finish the season at 35-14 to pass us. (Over .700 baseball- fat chance again)

Beckham from the M's has been suspended for PEDs. He acted like he was on something last weekend. He complained about any call that went against him and he was wrong every time.
