We've moved into the top spot for Home Field advantage throughout the playoffs by virtue of percentages over LAD and a tie with NYY and our 4-3 advantage playing each other.

Quick Question: Since the Astros are trying to push Tucker to 1B. And he since he is a Corner Outfielder as his primary postion. And Yordan Alveraz who needs to be at 1B but is the DH and can play Corner outfield.
What are they gonna do to Yuli? And his 8.4m with two Arbitration years? I didnt know he had two years after 2020. So basically we have him till 2022.
If thats the case why not sell him while his stock is high with those arb years attatched and try and get another young SP?
If he finishes this year above .300 and 30HRs almost if not 100 RBIs With three years left last two Arb years. His value would be extremely high. And we could potentially get valuable Prospects for him in the long run..
It would also free up much needed money for the likes of trying to resign a Cole or Springer and eventually Correa.
Its almost a must to move on from Josh Reddick this offseason and it would be absolutely hard to find a taker other then Oakland. In which Reddick hits very well there.
But its not about Reddick its about Yuli Gurriel. Astros have to start looking down the road some at the money thats about to hit them hard. I mean very hard.
Id pretty much guess they will resign Springer and it might be a long shot but Brantley could resign aswell after his deal. Marisnick would have to go for Myles Straw. Saving money down the road.

Thoughts on the matter?
You don't trade a 30HR/100 RBI guy that is costing you less than 1OM.... I don't see the Astros getting much for Reddick, because of his salary...If Tucker can prove his game can transcend into the majors; then yes, Astros are going to be pretty motivated to move Reddick.

Reddick used to be this guy who does pretty well in the regular season but then disappears for the most part in the postseason. Now, some of that has crept into the regular season. He’s always been a good defender. I mean you’ll take him as a 9th hitter, but I wouldn’t expect him to get a significant hit.

Then explain how you will afford him with all the money comming onto the books and having to resign Springer and some others?
The prime time to do so would be this offseason. A team could pay a premium for a playet like him to help puch them over the top.
There would be no reason to keep hom at his price if we could get another couple prospects.
Teams would salivate at the idea of having him. And wouldnt think the wiser on the price. As I said prime spot to trade him this offseaon teams will be listening on him.
If he gets another WS ring damn what would you be able to get?
Js guys you cant keep everyone. You gotta start finding money some where some how.
Reddick and Yuli are 2 prime guys to get something for. Yuli is very very prime to get a valued prospect or two .
In AAA but not on the 40. Can't call him up unless you DFA someone.
Speaking of minor leaguers getting called up..., what do you think of Jake Rogers?
I thought I'd bring this back to the fore. Jake had two highlight reel plays yesterday. Gunned down a runner at second and a backpick, both in the same game.
Cued up to the CS. Jump to around 3:40 for the backpick.
