Looks like you’ve got yourselves a catcher JIT. We already had a pretty good one ... all glove, no bat (Grayson Greiner) but he's out for the season. Rogers looks even better so far.

I’m disappointed in Cameron. He had trouble hitting righties until mid-season before he was traded, but he bombed lefties. Now it looks like he isn’t hitting anybody. Is he injured?

I'm guessing he just hasn't adapted well to being moved up in the system. His average has suffered but he hits with power when he does hit. He get his share of walks but he strikes out a LOT. It will take him a little longer to figure it out, is all. At least that's my opinion atm.

I thought he would be in the Tigers rotation by now.

This is interesting:
"Astros shortstop Carlos Correa had no idea he had reached 100 career home runs Thursday night until he saw it on social media after the Astros’ 7-6 loss to the A’s. It was there he read that he had joined one of his idols, Alex Rodriguez, and Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. in becoming the only shortstops to slug 100 homers before turning 25 years old."
Despite the health issues, he's still on pace with a HoFer and a would-have-been HoFer.

Eh, already does really, especially for the position. Even with his missed time, if he averages what he has been a year (20 HR 74 RBI 114 Hits 7 SB), he'll be at around: 300 HR 1000 RBI 1700 Hits 100 SB by the time he is 34. Not quite HoFer numbers yet, but getting close.

Kinsler went on the IL while only being 1 hit away from 2000. Imagine if he never got another AB. That would blow my OCD mind.

Who should be more worried about injured shortstops, the Padres or the Astros?

Any updates on Josh James? He could be the dark horse for making a true difference in the Astros bullpen for the playoffs.

James could make a difference if he can continue to find his 100 mph heater with some semblance of control.
