I feel like Reddick gets in his own head more than other hitters on the team.

Possibly, but the likelyhood of Reddick's value plummeting would not be so. Teams know what they are getting in Reddick regardless and it may be beneficial to have him play limited time in September if he does struggle instead of starting and falling on his face (Which I doubt would happen).
Houston can easily say, we wanted to get Tucker up here and have no room for Reddick anymore and other teams would buy that.
I read something from a Dodgers fan when we signed Reddick that basically alluded to the fact that Reddick disappeared every September. Maybe his problem is he runs out of gas and a little r and r might be just the ticket. Reddick shouldn't be fading in September with all the starts Marisnick gets at the beginning of the season

This year it is much more pronounced than in the others. This year his pre ops is 761, his post ops is 518. The 761 is nothing to write home to momma about and the 518 stinks real bad.

Tyler Skaggs' autopsy: Fentanyl, oxycodone and alcohol led to death by choking on vomit The Opioid epidemic claims another victim...... Are you choosing to ignore the mix with Fentanyl and alcohol? Each has it's own uses and abuses as does Opioids. But in a mix, it's even more deadly.

The shitty character epidemic. Blaming the chemical for this is no different than blaming the gun for murder.

No argument, except for the fact that a pretty decent percentage of those getting sucked into the monster get started as prescribed medications. There are some people naive enough that think that just because a Dr. directs its use, that it is without risk. To me, there is a shared liability in that regard.

I feel like after a doctor tells you to take the narcotic(s) whenever the pain gets really bad, that opens up the subjective aspect of usage. Next thing you know, you end up like Skaggs.

You hit Skaggs Road. The only part of this I didn’t like was that he was honored as some future Hall of Famer. Enough with the number patches on sleeves and nationwide remembrance of random players. It’s showy for the sake of showiness, and the ulterior plan is to sell more merch.

Sabathia might be done for the year (and career). Report said he is getting his knee drained and a shot. CC will need more than that to make a comeback.

There are some people naive enough that think that just because a Dr. directs its use, that it is without risk. To me, there is a shared liability in that regard. The issues are many, aided and abetted by bad doctors, entitled patients, a jacked-up world view and your federal government. Once they decided to include pain as a vital sign (oh, yes), and pay providers and hospitals based on patient reviews (instead of appropriate care) we were all screwed. And a good percentage of people I see that want pain meds isn't because of physical pain; their psychological state manifests itself in somatic complaints. You cannot successfully treat psychological pain with pharmaceutical painkillers; you leave the patient with two problems, and the one exacerbates the other. They've put physicians in a spot that they are answerable if they don't treat pain, and get their license yanked if the government thinks they've treated it too much. Certainly, I'm not against pain relief for someone who has a physical need for it, but there are many who don't. The narcotic epidemic can mostly be traced to your government.

I have told more people than I can remember that the Drug Problem in America is directly related to the Federal Government. The Feds want the inner cities High and looking for drugs. If they are more concerned about the next fix they DONT have TIME to look at the Government and their lot in life. Thus No Mass Protesting against the Gov and its policies. Once the Drugs got into the Suburbs it became even more evident that the Way to keep the Population in Control is keeping the populace Strung out on Drugs. Let the Doctors and BIg Pharm take care of that Problem. Big Pharm lied to the Public about how addictive they were. Only to get people addictive and selling more Pills. It was all about the MONEY. The couple Billion it will cost will not in anyway hurt the Bottom Line. Now that it has become a Problem they are looking at the next way to control.
When you go into the Doctors office first question is what is Your Pain Level. I have a torn Rotary Cuff and Busted elbow right now from Work and most days I would say I have Pain they would register at 6-8. I tell then NO DRUGS. When I went to the VA for the Headaches I get at lest twice a day if not more for Years they wanted to put me on some Migraine Syc. Drugs I told them to stuff them.
Once you start the Drugs they can and will take away your Weapons to safeguard you and those around you as an excuse too. They want us all High and Easy to Control

How crazy is it that Philadelphia stole Harper from the Nats yet trail them in the standings by 6 games for the Wild Card lead?
Washington didn't upgrade their team that much at all while the Phillies added not only Harper but also Realmuto, Segura and Bruce

I wonder if there have ever been 5 100 win teams in the same season. Atlanta and the Twins should make it.

Should Correa automatically be a shoe in for the playoff roster? He has not been healthy and may not have his timing down at the pate or in the field in the limited number of PA left in the season. I'm honestly thinking his place is not secure.
