Or Trey Mancini for Derek Fisher and some low levels? Stassi is supposed to be an above average pitch frame catcher, as well as all around defensive catcher Thus, if he can start hitting .225+ the rest of the way, I think the Astros would put replacing him lower in the list of needs.

Yup. And his last 3 games he is hitting .375. He has a chance to bounce back.

What about a package for Felipe Vasquez and Josh Bell? Bell can DH Vasquez becomes the 1 2 3 at the end of our bullpen.
I think the Pirates might still need some help rebuilding

Harder package C. Smith and J. Alfaro.
This team still needs a boat load of help.

He's a backup catcher that plays 2 games a week at most. If he's even just adequate in May and June there is no reason to waste prospects to trade for a new backup catcher.

Vogt and MadBum this would be an interesting duo trade target. They need OFers like there going out of style. We yave a few that would need a new start some where

Come on he is on a 1yr deal and age will be a factor eventually

We don't need to trade away prospects for a catching rental.

Kemp, White and possibly Marisnick could be all trade fillers this year. Straw replaces Marisnick Alvarez replaces White Tucker replaces Kemp (probably last to happen) If Straw proves he is better, I am all for it. I'd do the other two now.

What about Jorge Alfaro for Garrett Stubbs, Maxx Stassi and Jeremy Pena? Would be worth it in the long run Alfaro would be a great back up guy slash DH. Somwthing like that would be a great move to do for the Astros to make. I doubt if Stubbs will be dealt.

You might get alittle here and there but nothing more then a back up. Not really worried about next years class. There will be many people vowing for there services aswell

Js he woild be a great addition for years to come. Could learn some things from vet SPs like we have

He is learning a new postion so that helps.i would only hope he stays constant or close to it with his bat
