I am hard on Marisnick AND Marwin. And lately tired of Gattis. No reason to give up on any of them at this point. I'm not so much into giving up on anyone...I just rant against, for instance, Jake will suck for weeks at a time, then hit a lucky HR, and the fans on this forum instantly forget how shitty he really is and start talking about him as if he's an actual major league level ball player. Marwin was mediocre for years...had ONE good fluke season, and our friends here are talking about how he'll be unaffordable in free agency as if he's Mike Trout.

I agree with most of that, but when the players were so successful last year, I feel they’re due the benefit of the doubt right now.

Surprised Altuve didn’t put a bunt down there. He certainly isn’t driving the ball right now.

[br So far this season Dallas and Marwin are not making a good case to see $$$$$ this offseason.

I think it's a big mistake to pull Joe Smith after facing only one batter. If this thing goes deep into extras, Hinch will regret not having used Smith for at least 3 outs or 20 pitches.

That is like a Bald Eagle sighting, Giles with a clean inning.

I guess McHugh can give 3 or 4 innings in relief if this one goes on and on and on

Giles is fine. He had a rough postseason in his first chance.

McHugh, Harris, and Hoyt are the only relievers left. I'd start McHugh in the 10th and hand it over to Harris, then Hoyt around the 13th if needed.
Giles is not a two-inning reliever. Smith should have pitched the 9th.

I don't agree with the pinch running decision. McCann can come in and catch.

I think somebody called a Gattis walk-off late in extra innings today. Could be prophetic...

An Altuve walkoff hit would blow the place up.
