Let us not be too lackadaisical when it comes to the team's shortcomings. Relievers will blow saves; batters will strike out... especially with RISP. It is our job to propose the solutions. You know as well as I do, Jeff Luhnow is lurking somewhere on this forum. And he listens to us.
At the same time, let us not be too alarmed when baseball turns whimsical and goes against us, such as allowing game-tying home runs off of stupid Chick-Fil-A signs. Eat more beef, folks.

Just turned the snow game on in KC. Lets see if the vaunted Angels pen can hold the lead 5-3. The Angels are 13-3 now. We are sitting 2.5 games back and the Mariners are a half game back of us. We can’t lose these type of games with the angels and mariners playing so well. I was hoping maybe the Angels would lose today but they have Ohtani pitching this afternoon. |

We are not playing well, the Angels are playing lights out and hitting pretty much on all cylinders. Same for the Mariners and yet there we are right in the middle of it. So when they start playing poorly what will happen.

I am looking forward to our upcoming series with the angels. It starts on Monday April 23rd. We will have Cole, Morton and Verlander going in that series. Hope we can take 2 out of 3 at the least!

Keep in mind that, at this point in the season, the team is tied for the best start to a season in team history. Yesterday’s game was particularly frustrating. With the lineup Texas ran out there they are no better than our Frisco team yet we allowed them to come back from a 5-0 deficit and beat us. Not good. |

Keep in mind that, at this point in the season, the team is tied for the best start to a season in team history. the Angels have also beaten up on weaker teams. The only good team they have played is the Indians. |
