We are gonna be short alot of guys come this off season. This is why Stroman would be ideal

He has literally lost alittle over 2.5mph off his fast ball. Why the hell would you wanna extend him when he is showing signs of regression? We would be stuck with a shitty contract and nothing or no one to blame but, "Man he was good awhile back in the Playoffs, But aint shit anymore" sucks we cant resign our guys cuz we sunk so much money into this bum |

I would lean towarda he cant do it anymore, therefore that answers why he has no spin rate If the Astros do trade for Bumgarner, I trust in them that they have watched video on him and know what needs to be corrected....I initially thought his velocity was down, but if that is not the case, it could be just mechanics....if so, he could be obtained at a relatively good price. I also like Lugo, who is doing very well, and Conley, who is completely sucking. Lugo is a pipe dream, while Conley is more an off-season move, b/c he might need a lot of time to get it together...thus, not a midseason project. |

From what I have read on this page I personally think that two things are absolutely true, the first is that MadBum does not even resemble a cheap imitation of what he was, and next, if we do trade for him we have to believe that Strom thinks he can fix him.

Exactly. If you do get MadBum while he even listen? I would prefer not to, even with Greinke. I would pass on him aswell. I would rather trade Prospects for controllable peices, instead of  Players with high contracts or rentals. Matthew Boyd, Marcus Stroman, Mike Minor, Zack Wheeler, Aaron Sanchez, Dylan Bundy, Seth Lugo, Noah Syndergaard, Chris Archer maybe even a Lucas Giolito and Jacob DeGrom or Max Scherzer. Guys with years left on the Contract to prepare as well as contended next year. The Relief Market aswell will have rentals. Which is ok but I would tey and double dip the Giants pen with Will Smith and Tony Watson. Ship out Chris Devenski maybe Hector Rondon. But we can get a SP who has more then just this year. It might be good to buy low on the Chris Archer or Dylan Bundy but then you would still have to find a SP to help compete. There is alot to ponder once the deadline approaches. But one thing that needs to happen soon is health Springer, Altuve, Diaz and Correa all need to get better. I would even say this if a team was interested in Peacock or James I would consider it. If it was a top of the line pitcher. |

Archers Value is Poop and we could talk them into selling him.
And still be able to add a Marcus Stroman.
The Blue Jays want Pitchers for any Package for Him. So Josh James could be Apart of that deal.
Sorry but only other person that would have value to me on that team is Aaron Sanchez. Which alot of you would not want. But would be a nice Strom Project and would mean we could certainly move a contract onto them back like Chris Devenski.
