I can't believe how many called strikes they are taking. By the time they decide to swing they are already down two strikes most times

By comparison, the Mariners putting Nicasio into this sitaution would be like Hinch putting Sipp in to protect a 2-1 lead. Sipp should have such luck, against the top of the order. |

Honestly, with the luck the Astros have been having, I think they'd have lost a 5-game series against any AA team we might have picked out of a hat. |

They had stretches like this last season, but my gosh why does it take so long to adjust?

It's time to think about shuffling the lineup for a bit. Not to punish a certain player but to get them focused again.
Bregman in the 2 spot maybe something to consider moving down for a few games. Also, I hate Marisnik starting. Let's put Fisher in there for a few games straight. Put him in 8th and Stassi or McCann 9th.
I know Altuve probably doesn't want to be #2 again but I could see

They had stretches like this last season, but my gosh why does it take so long to adjust? What really hurts in all of this is the wasted good pitching starts. I hope it is not one of those seasons when the bats start finally come around the pitching goes south. |
