Who should be in future groups to be inducted in the Astros Hall Of Fame?
I'd start with Roy Oswalt, Lance Berkman, Dave Smith, Joe Sambito, and Cesar Cedeno.

I was surprised Cedeno didn't go in this time.

All that were inducted deserved it and there are many more. I listed some i thought need to be in it and I agree with those mentioned by the rest of you. I had forgotten Doug Rader.

I hope they keep the class sizes small. They needed a “catch up” class to install enough voters. I don’t want to see aHOF turn into a joke where “this guy was good for 2 years so let him in”.
For instance, I loved Moises Alou, but I wouldn’t ever think of him as a HOF Astro.

Bob Aspromonte was an Astro/Colt-45 for 7 years. Probably shouldn't admit anyone with less than that total

I would have to say the most deserving player not inducted into the inaugural class is Cesar Cedeno. The most deserving Broadcaster would be Loel Passe.
By the way, Joe Morgan elevated his stock in my opinion with nice things he said about his rime here last weekend.
I still don't know why Bob Watson seems to hate us, but he seems to.

I never knew the amount of love and respect Joe Morgan had for the Astros until this weekend.
I was also surprised to not see Cedeno in the original class

as the years went by I realized Joe didn't dislike the Astros as much as the ownership at the time he was traded to the Reds

So he took back 40 years of bad-mouthing us in one weekend, and he's okay? Up to me, I'd left his ass off, by nature of his short time here alone.

I remember my dad’s thoughts on Morgan. He very much sat in the anti Morgan camp. Respected the player, didn’t care for the Anti-Astro stance. I fall somewhere in between because I more took his word for it. Unfortunately he passed away before we created a HOF or I could have gotten his take. As for me, I wasn’t as emotionally invested in the anti-Morgan camp so I came away extremely impressed with his comments. He learned to play baseball as an Astro, he already knew when he came to the Reds. Those are some big words coming from someone with a statue of himself out in Cincinnati

Astros fans have a long history of being perpetually butt-hurt. For evidence, see the frequent complaints about how the sports media "hates us".

I am guessing this is a back handed indirect comment towards me. I never said the media hates us. What I have tried to extol is that we are not a E/W coastal team. (i.e NYY, BOS, LAD, SFG), and the mainstream media sports (ESPN, SI, others) selectively have chosen to ignore us, or chose not give us the accolades that are deserved. Now that we have stacked the deck, that's changing because we can't be ignored. But before? It was damned obvious. And on the Morgan matter.... it seems every time that Morgan was color, on an ESPN broadcast, he was making some negative comment about the Astros, or one of the players. Specifically, his comment that Biggio was not HOF worthy grated on me most of all. Add the fact he was a .261 duration hitter and a SB specialist in just 6 full seasons here? I just don't see that as Astros HOF-worthy. If that constitutes "Butt-Hurt" ....So be it.

Well, I have maybe been the most vocal about my displeasure with what I have been calling the Baseball Illuminati (media, COB office, coastal block MLB owners) If that wasn't directed towards me... my apologies.

Spend any time at all on MLB social media and you will find a swarm of Astros fans who complain incessantly about "anti-Astros bias" in the media. Especially during and after any national Astros broadcast. Not saying you're not one of the butthurt...just that you're not who I had in mind when I said it.

While I do agree that we have long memories, I do think your a downplaying a significant bias of the media to the coastal cities.
The proportion of coverage that was given for the no-hitter on the HOF induction night when 5 of the 11 no hitter pitchers were in attendance was far lower than if a west coast or east coast team when have accomplished. It didn’t even rank as a top 3 headline on ESPNs page. And yes, I looked the day of and after.
I don’t think it is anti-Astro, but it is why I am perfectly happy with FuboTV. It offers my Astros without offering ESPN and I don’t miss it at all. I get my articles through google and the Athletic.

There is no denying the bias for NYY/BOS/LAD. But that has to do with numbers/money/viewership. It's indisputable that the NYY/BOS rivalry brings in infinitely more viewers than Hou/Tex. The broadcast executives are in the business of making money.

The broadcast executives are in the business of making money. Getting a long awaited WS title was sweet but beating the Red Sox, Yankees, and Dodgers to get it made it sweeter. I am also in the camp of Cedar Cedeno being in our HOF and should have been in the first group......Loel Passe and Bill Brown both belong in. Altbough I didn't care for Milo, he belonged in. Tnere has never been a broadcaster more fuil of himself t than Milo Hamilton.......Gene Elston was twice the broadcaster Milo was.

Most of the butt-hurt fans back in the day were equally critical of the Astros as the media were
I'm sure if one of them went up to an ESPN analyst and asked why the Astros don't get enough cred, the answer would be Well the owner doesn't give slot money to draft picks, Carlos Lee is overpaid, and Biggio and Bagwell didn't hit their weight in the postseason And the butt-hurt fan would say oh yeah, I posted that on a forum last week
