I think part of the cause of our resurgent offense is the patience at the plate. 53 pitches already on this guy and in the third with only one hit.

McCullers is fine. Nobody has their A game all the time.
I'm more concerned that we let Looez off the hook I'm the first inning and now he looks settled in.

All McCullers seems to have today is his fastball and he is catching too much of the plate with that. We are lucky we are only down by a run.

this guy is not a bad pitcher. he averages giving up 4 hits per 9 innings so far this year but 6 walks per 9. He also averages 6 1/3 innings per start. Doubt he gets there today
