Correa is an RBI machine this year. Fantastic. He said he wants to win an mvp. Good start to the year for that (although I'm sure Trout will have something to say about that).

tough luck for Bregman, got his pitch gave it a good wack and lines out. Pitcher is up to 100 pitches though so we get 4 innings of their bullpen most likely

Either Lopez has to get extended to 120 pitches or so, or Renteria has to go to the bullpen early. Either way, good for the Stros.

I've been critical of McCullers it's good to he's settled in

Bregman has come a long way as a third baseman.

I'd like to see the symmetry of a 00001144 box score to go with last night's 44110000.

McCullers settling down fine. Just needs a lead.

Lopez must be wondering what he has to do to get a win. What's that? 4 earned runs in 24 innings pitched?

Chicago announcers are saying how they think Lopez is going to be a mainstay of their postseason roster in the 2020s.

Gattis pitch recognition is trash.

The thing about Gattis's problems (waning bat to ball skills, poor pitch recognition, power that has declined steadily for the past 3-4 years) is that there is no solution to them, especially in the post-PEDS world. No need to wonder whether he'll get better. He won't. Fisher is a different story because he's at a different point on the aging curve. White can come up now in my opinion. If somebody wants Gattis, they can have him.

I think it's too soon to say he's done. Although he certainly looks bad now.

I spoke too soon about Lance's stuff today. He has definitely improved as the game has gone on. Good job!

Chicago announcers think the HBP was intentional and are calling for the Astros to "get drilled".
But why would Lance have a beef with Sanchez?

Kris Bryant just got clocked in the head by a pitch. Scary.

They better not target Altuve. These Chicago announcers are crazy. They've been bragging all game about how it's a White Sox tradition to dare to retaliate on HBP's.
