Cole vs. Skaggs
Should be the biggest challenge for our pitching staff yet. Trout (who is crazy on fire right now) leads a more all-around powerful offense against our slightly-better-at-getting-on-base offense. Our pitching staff is vastly superior on paper thus far, but we'll see how true that remains.
Simmons is currently listed as Day to Day. Over the last 5 games we're 5-0 and they're 1-4. Let's keep that trend going!

Trout should be walked before giving in to him. He is susceptible to the strikeout if thrown high fastballs. He kills the low pitch. He is hot,but, he can be pitched to. History tells us that we have had more trouble with Pujols. We have the advantage is the pitching matchups. If Simmons is out, their infield defense is definitely weaker.

Trade Marisnick, Marwin and Fisher for Mike Trout. Stick Trout in right field, move Reddick to left. Call up Kemp/Davis for bench.

You ruined it with your Jake bitterness. There is more to running skills than just steals (in which he has stolen bases). Just look back at Bagwell! Marisnick (Dude went 1-3 with only 2 Ks last game. He is officially on fire!)
I know we like to rest Reddick against lefties, but his work against lefties is better than Jake's line against anybody... Why can't we use Jake in the role he should be in instead of starting him so often? Reddick kills it at home, too....

The Giants pitching staff kept the Angels in check the last series. Will the Stros starting staff keep the streak rolling and with a little offense the series should tilt in their favor. The trouble is Albert could come out with one leg, which he is doing now and still do damage. |

Every team has one player that has their number, and that is Albert with Houston.
