Is it just me, or did we seem to hit better on the road last year also? I remember the beginning of the season the offense wasn't clicking at home. |

One of the few games where Skaggs isn't into pitch count trouble. Angels haven't got much of a bullpen left after last night (they used 6 guys out of the pen).

Rotoworld was saying Gattis bat speed might be slowing down. He jumps when he’s batting and swings. That would explain why his exit velos and fly ball distance are all way down this year. They've been falling steadily since 2016 but the rate of decline has picked up substantially this year. One optimistic way to look at it is: For every strikeout and weakly hit ground ball, we are one Gattis AB closer to seeing Tyler White. |

Carlos Gomez always hit better with glasses, but refused to wear them regularly.
Did anybody see his HR celebration the other day? Ridiculous. You'd think he just won his 10th gold medal at the Olympics.
