Pathetic. I know Hinch likes to give people their chances but come on already. The guy is swinging at everything recently. The guy gets one hit in 20+ AB’s, and he starts the next game.

Dave Roberts is such a dumbass Alex Wood pitched just 7.2 innings in the World Series. Could've made a difference I totally agree. I was shocked he didn’t start in Game 7. We would still be talking about chasing that first ring if he did. |

The offense can’t just feast on righties. Skaggs is looking like the Keuchel of ‘15 tonight. There's so much break on his breaking ball that the Astros aren't swinging low enough. As a result, they hit the top of the ball and it becomes a weak grounder for an easy out. Springer's line drive might have suggested Skaggs is getting tired. Last season, from pitches 51 to 100, the OPS against Skaggs was over .800. So he's due to be getting more hittable at his current pitch count. |
