Yuli is rejoining the team soon, and Correa is set to rehab with Round Rock on Friday. Things are looking up.

Strom: You’re ahead 0-2. Throw a strike, you coward.

He's not in the lineup today, but the next hit Chirinos gets will be a career high in a season for him. As we approach the final two weeks of the regular season, here are the HR totals the starters are on pace for: Bregman: 39 Springer: 37 Gurriel: 30 Altuve: 29 Alvarez: 28 Brantley: 23 Correa: 20 Chirinos: 19 Reddick: 13 And several of those guys will have played in less than 125 games. It is funny to contrast this team vs. the 1979 Astros who had Jose Cruz leading the team in HRs that year with 9.
In fact the entire team only hit 49 that year. Still finishing 2nd in the NLW. with an 83-79 record.

Great send by Pettis. Credit to Yordan as well for taking advantage of the unimpressive arm of Profar.

I wonder how Yuli is progressing... Correa and Pressly are coming along well, reportedly. I wonder if Correa had a trainer place the ball on the tee and remove it, then place the ball on the tee again and remove it then place the ball on the tee a third time before each swing of the bat in order to simulate him taking two strikes down the middle before swinging the bat? Heh

Hollywood barely films on location anymore and it's one of the things I detest about Hollywood. Karate Kid II was shit but the production design in that movie makes it watchable from time to time

I don’t understand Pettis. He takes risks when he doesn’t need to do so and holds runners when iffy hitters are on deck.

Yeah that was a bad send Pettis. No reason to take that chance with these guys coming up.

Yeah that was a bad send Pettis. No reason to take that chance with these guys coming up. Maybe the bad baserunning isn’t just on the players. Sabermetrics and no risk this and that you always hear from the analysts.
