Looks like the Nats aren’t going away so easily. Zimmerman just had the biggest hit of his life.

As I read this thread the Flame Warriors comes to mind. One in particular. Tireless Rebutter. I’m glad to see that Flame Warriors is back online. It had been closed down a few years ago. Where are the caricatures for each warrior? It may just be an ipad thing. I get the Flame Warriors roster with the description of each warrior, but no caricatures.

So supposedly JV told Hunch he wanted to start the game tomorrow.

Twins leaving too many men on base, with their warning track power. Fixing to be on vacation after tonight, I fear.
Glad to see the Dodgers lose.

Just when I thought couldn't dislike Yadier Molina any more.....
Did anyone see his antics?
1. After a sac fly he flings his bat like a Molotov Cocktail. 2. Then is seen flashing throat slashing gestures.
This is a mf ing thug.

Cameron Maybin just sealed the deal with that homer, I reckon.
Do y’all think we can beat the Yankees? They look pretty tough. 👀

I figured that had to be the case. I feel better that it's his decision and not Hinch pressuring or even asking.
If Verlander thinks he's ready for tomorrow then he's already put his mind in the right spot to trick his body.
Verlander (and Cole for a game #5 if necessary) all but guarantees an ALDS victory. Let's hope the Astros take care of business early with a shit-ton of runs so we can replace Verlander as quick as possible. I think 9-0 would work after 3 innings.

At least that’s four or five more hours of rest.

That's why, I believe it was Bear, and myself preferred to play them in the first round. They primarily beat up on the dregs of the AL Central and then lost a primary pitcher to suspension. They were the weakest team in the playoffs (including Oakland), imo.

The Nationals will do whatever it takes to win game 5. Even using Scherzer and Strasburg again. The Dodgers could possibly not making it out of the first round....

I feel like the ink from his neck tat is seeping into his brain. He thinks he's some damn amazing player. He's a really good defensive catcher for a while now, but he's a below average hitter, and he's been mostly a mediocre performer in the postseason (which he was carried to the postseason, primarily because of players like Pujols, Holliday, Edmonds, etc.). Outside of a good run from 2011-2013, he's been a solid but not amazing player. The only enjoyment I would get if they advanced and we got a chance at them, is JV and Cole making him look like absolute garbage at the plate.

In fact, make that his only job.

Advantage Dodgers. Buehler is good, but he didn't exactly light up September, and he is prone to some flops now and then too. Plus he has never gone this deep in a season before innings-pitched wise.

Man, if the Dodgers AND the Cardinals don't advance, the media will be praying for the Yankees to go to the WS.

Just when I thought couldn't dislike Yadier Molina any more..... Did anyone see his antics? 1. After a sac fly he flings his bat like a Molotov Cocktail. 2. Then is seen flashing throat slashing gestures. This is a mf ing thug. I don’t support throwing at hitters, but this is the end result of letting players do whatever they want. You have not just celebrations but incessant celebrations. Players one-up each other by trying to be more showy and disrespectful. The main issue I have is that gutless COB Manfred won’t do a thing about it because of the popular “u mad bro” culture in sports. I mean it’s one thing if you hit a pivotal homer or one very late in a game but early in games there’s no need. Gregorius hit a grand slam in like the third inning against the Twins the other day and stood at home plate for a few seconds before defiantly tossing his bat. On the flip side, if a pitcher throws the ball a tad inside, you almost have bench clearing brawls. A couple weeks ago, I saw a highlight of some white kid on the Orioles robbing a home run and start screaming and beating his chest like a gorilla in an obviously meaningless game (Orioles, come on). Enough already. This “making my brand” culture is getting out of hand.

Molina is one of those players who, if they hadn't learned baseball and made millions, would have ended up in prison for gang-related crimes.
