St. Louis down 7-1 with the Nats coming to bat in the bottom of the 7th. Cards probably thinking, “Dead gum!”

I just have a feral, instinctive dislike for Yadier Molina. Is it the neck tats, wax face, or girl brows?

Looking at the forecast for Game 4, it would be preferable to move the game to 9AM in order to get the game in.

Washington has just destroyed the Cardinals. Already up 3 Games leading Game 4 by 7 runs already in the bottom of the third. They are going to be tuff for no matter who faces them.

That's probably a shoop but I'm sure most Red Sox fans are rooting for ABY.

Did anybody else notice a slight deviation in Cole's outing. He usually throws his fastball around 97 to 99 early in the game and increases to 99 to 101 either with base runners or late in the inning.
In game 3, he was touching 100 throughout the game. While not significant if he maintains this mechanics, it does affect the break on his breaking balls if the same velocity increase has occurred.
Could this be why he had trouble getting swinging strikes and instead increased his foul ball rate? Or do you agree with AROD that the Yankees were just executing their game plan?

The Yankees are just a good hitting team, and Cole didn't have his best command. I wouldn't look too far into it.

Eh, there is a rumor that Judge was telling his teammates something about Verlander too. It goes both ways.

So now if we advance to the WS we'll have to listen to a bunch of Baby Shark and watch the Nationals players shark clapping at each other after every base hit.
And you thought the Oakland drums were annoying...

Is there a more childish fan base than the Yankees fans anywhere? What a bunch of immature losers.

See Cubs fans! I think the Red Sox fans can be just as insufferable. YMMV. In my personal opinion, the Royals fans have always seemed welcoming to guests in their stadium (as well as on their MLB message board when those were still a thing), but I'm sure someone somewhere has had a bad experience due to a few bad apples in the bunch. I can tell you from first-hand observation that Tigers fans are generally good people, but some of the very worst visitors to other message boards included a rare few unpleasant characters from the old Tigers board. And bad calls can lead to ugly behavior ... anyone remember the 'Outfield Fly Rule' call? I felt sorry for the Braves fans before they acted out that way.

One of the worst calls I have seen in my almost 60 years of watching ML baseball.

We all know he's still on the Yankee payroll so his antics don't bother me.

I don't really think you can hold an arrogant attitude against a dude when he was one of the best to ever play the game. Sometimes, the arrogance is earned.

Arrogance is always dishonorable. It's root is narcissism. It leads to fascist socialism, an elite leadership position of course.
