We have to have some guys start hitting....namely Springer and Brantley. Verlander's mindset should give us an advantage in spite of pitching on sbort rest.

Springer will break out of his slump I think you are right. If he leads off with a hit, that could ignite them. I also hope Tucker starts instead of Reddick. |

The spacing of Brantley, Yordan, and Reddick gives us a left every 3rd batter. I guess Hinch is forcing Cash to either use a lot of pitchers to get good match-ups, or sacrifice and not have great righty/lefty matchups. It's not a bad idea for a bullpen day for the Rays. (Although with them fighting for their lives, any pitcher is going to be fair game.)
We need to get them to early before they get comfortable.
