Sad how I'm hoping Reddick runs into one

Reddick it is your time to contribute. Joke.

Well that's a shame. They get a dinker through the hole to bring in an extra run, and Reddick hits a 100mph lineout.

Story of Reddick's life right there. Scalded the ball, right to the fat Azn.

If the Astros were smarter they should have delayed telling the world Verlander is pitching until today.

I said last night I would not have started Verlander today. Bad Move on Hinch's part. The offense has been barley alive the whole month of September and now is going into deep Ice Sleep.

Time for Urquidy man. He can't hardly throw a strike.

When will our batters show up like Tampa have? Everyone was all giddy by the two games in Houston. Meanwhile, they won because the pitching was superior not that the offense came to play.

they were told they were the best team this year and it got in their head and now they can't show up and play. If this is how they are going to be when they are not home they will not beat the Yankees if they even get that far.

Game of inches. This could just as easily be a 2-1 game in the 3rd inning right now.

I wouldn’t have started Urquidy either. Expected a rookie to start in a potential clincher is asking a lot. The Astros pitching staff got all screwed up when Miley became a no show.

I still think it was the right call. JV hasn't had his command, but that could have happened with rest.
Sometimes things just don't work out. The offense has to pick him up.

I would have certainly started Urquidy and then have Verlander on standby just in case. If the game gets out of control early then you save a well rested Verlander for Game #5 but if it's close then you can go with Verlander for an inning or two if need be.

Springer didn’t bust ass down the line on that one.

Does this effect Springer's extension possibility?

The offense is more disappointing than JV.

It's like we are watching the 1999 Astros all over again in the post season with Biggio and Bagwell against the Braves

They have six more innings but it feels like they got nothing. They're not acting like they're the favorites.

they can't even stretch the inning out to give Verlander a rest between. This is the offense I was afraid of showing up.

Alvarez won't homer this series at all and will be lucky to drive in another run. Hard to drive in runs when you bat with the bases empty all the time.

Time for Urquidy man. He can't hardly throw a strike. Urquidy should have started the game.........if we lose tonight and Cole wins game 5, Hinch may have to start Greinke in game one of the ALCS.
