Note to Bortaz.... Surprised we are getting visitiors considering we are not even showing up on a google search "astros message board". I can see being bumped, but not even there? Perhaps we need Message Board in the name. Astrosrefugees_MessageBoard? The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that since 90+% of our board are right of center politically, that Google is screwing us.

I was going to say, everytime Trump, liberals and race are mentioned on here it knocks this board down another page

Again... just more ironclad proof of the true intent of these wenches.

Has he gotten back the COD? The COD was lethal against LHB a couple seasons ago. Not so much anymore

I am most concerned about facing Strausburg. For the most part our regulars can handle pitchers who depend heavily on an overpowering fastball, but don’t have the lethal breaking stuff. Strausburg has both the heat and the wicked curve. If I recall right, Strasburg has an Achilles Heel with lefties with a BAA more than .100 points higher than right handed players. I look for a lefty dominated lineup tonight.
ps Apparently that was another pitcher. Strasburg has been more effective vs lefties than righties. So forget the lefty dominated lineup until the pitcher I was thinking about shows up.
It is Scherzer with those splits, not Strasburg.

Telling you, Peter Gammons is very hard to watch... so much so that I almost preferred Chris "Mad Dog" Russo God, people like Russo are the worst...his yelling, panting, ADHD fastspeak with loud, harsh music drowning out half of what is said, combined with his shitty yankee accent...he's unbearable.

If .179 beats the Yankees....... I don't think the Nats can depend on our offense being that weak in this series. Springer is due to get hot and Yordan has to be better. I agree. I can't see our offense struggling for three series in a row. The AL is a lot more competitive than the NL and this should help the 'Stros offense too.

The media is so afraid the Astros are going to win the World Series that they are running this BS about Osuna in the ground.......Fake news isn't just being used against Trump.....it's alive and well in baseball.

Abreu didn't impress, so the strutter is brought back. He had one bad game whereas Devenski has been shite for a long while. Devenski wasn't so bad in September. His ERA was under 2 for the month

Reddick and Brantley both have a career OPS over 1.000 vs Scherzer, but neither has faced him since 2014.

Telling you, Peter Gammons is very hard to watch... so much so that I almost preferred Chris "Mad Dog" Russo After him being on the local Radio show here for years. His song and Dance is old. Every time I hear him I think of a ADHD incoherent babbling fool After reading further down and seeing the Green Frog had to say. LOL He hit it right on the Nail

for some reason the over/under for this game seems like it should be about 14 even with the two aces on the hill.

One reporter predicted Alvarez would be the World Series MVP. Just curious- If the Nats did win and Alvy went 0-20 with 11 K's I would possibly vote him as the Nats MVP as well.
In all seriousness, I think he will bust out of his slump and do well
