No definitive news yet. Baddoo might have to go through concussion protocol. If he's lucky, Hill will have bruised ribs and a sore shoulder for a while. If unlucky, it will be much worse. Gotta love that classy fan on the audio at 24 seconds on the video. |

Baddoo is on the DL for seven due to concussion protocol. Hill is on the DL-10 with bruised ribs. If that wasn't bad enough, Niko Goodrum recently came off the DL. He pulled up lame last night after hitting a double. So he's back on the DL with a groin injury. I'm beginning to hate Camden Yards. |

btw, I've never been a big fan of Jack Morris' color commentary. He's not horrible but Kirk Gibson is much better when we have him (about half of the time). Unfortunately, the sub for Jack last night was Craig Monroe.  He sounds pretty much like the way he dresses. Wall-to-wall batting cliches like "Let the ball travel", "Use the big part of the field", "Stay inside the baseball", etc. Style over substance ... if ya call that style. lol |

Geoff Blum overdoes the "exit velocity and launch angle" BS. It proves nothing. But, I'll take Blum over Alan Ashby all day long. He irritated the hell out of me with his "earnies" for earned runs and "ribbies" for runs batted in. I was so glad when they got rid of him. Milo Hamilton was a good play by play man. His problem was he loved the sound of his own voice and constantly interrupted whoever was in the booth with him. Letting Gene Elston go to keep Milo was pure stupidity.
I heard Ernie Harwell a few times and thought he was good. I liked Jack Buck but can't stand his son. I despised Harry Caray. When you start with play by play baseball announcers, it starts with Vin Scully and goes down from there.
