Talk about paying, Titans signed Su'a-filo. Line JJ over him and the fun and games begin.

He would probably manhandle JJ in his current state of 80% of what he once was...

There is a waiting list for tickets. Fans that leave will be replaced. Tickets will be sold. It won't be enough fans to make a difference... Kaepernick and the rest made a mistake. They should have been very clear from the beginning. It would have made things better for the whole situation... Despite the waiting list, I think it would hurt sales/attendance. Not worth the headache to go through for a backup QB.

I just hope they reinforce that offensive line. Nick Martin can’t play five positions simultaneously.

Not really a back up... And they still would not have made the playoffs...all they would have had is all the media drama, and pissed off fans... I am not being narrow minded about this, all the games would be centered around Cap kneeling....to think otherwise is being foolish, very Ghick like.

I am giving Texans' fans some credit. It wouldn't have been easy, but I think it have gotten better over time... I don't really know what the Ghick comment means. I don't remember how he acted. My opinions on the Kaepernick situation are not foolish. I have actually spent some time on this topic...

It would only answer one part of it. I am not arguing just to argue. This is an interesting topic. There are so many different angles that can be discussed.

So, you are saying if the Texans signed Kap last year, when Watson went down, then basically all the media hoopla would not have been centered around his kneeling...that there would not be dissension that would have caused between players, coaches, fans...and for what? Some possible meaningless wins, while the team waits for its star QB, along with other star players, to comeback this year.
C'mon now, see Big Picture

Some possible meaningless wins, while the team waits for its star QB, along with other star players, to comeback this year. C'mon now, see Big Picture There would have been media coverage. There would have been dissension. Some fans would leave. Some coaches might not have liked it. I understand all of that. If CK played like he did in 2016 with the 49ers, it would have been worth it. I don't believe the Texans would say any win is meaningless. Might not have made the playoffs, but winning is important. Big picture?! McNair has a perception problem. Signing CK would have helped that too. Same with signing Reid this year...

That has to be a joke, right?!
It sounds like you are just taking shots at me... Called me Ghick. Telling me I said something that I didn't say...
I thought we were having a good discussion. You decided to go a different route...
Oh well...

I just hope they reinforce that offensive line. Nick Martin can’t play five positions simultaneously. They did sign 3 OL who should help. They didn't find a LT... Traded the one they had during the season... Not having a pick until the 3rd round won't help...

You decided to go a different route... Oh well... It sounded very Ghickish....Not saying you were being a Big Ghick...maybe just a Little Ghick.....But it appeared to not to be just the issue for the Texans, no other team signed him as well, and some had better chances to go to the playoffs....no reason to take a huge gamble with fans just to pick up a win here and there on a bust year...Don't burn the bridge, and unless you know for certain you are on the right side of the river.

Maybe Kaepernick is the left-wing Tebow His fans say he's blacklisted cause of his politics, but the truth is he can't play the position anymore

It is much easier to cut a guy in the NFL too... So, the contract won't really be an issue. I don't expect the Texans to make this move...
