It'd be difficult to pawn off Tatis after he recently admitted he's had shoulder trouble since rookie ball. Ownership should pray for some Disney magic there I didn't know the previous problem he had with his shoulder. But you are talking about a demanding position of shortstop where you have to range from your left to your right on ground balls, that can easily lead to hyperextend it again. The Padres might have to think twice with the switch of Manny and Tatis to give him reign at short. Man, but Machado is such a slick fielder at 3B.

When the Orioles trading him to the Dodgers, didn't he take the assignment to 3rd with some negativity. The guy could probably play any position in the infield and win a gold glove.

I had high hopes for Ferrell... so did I. I don't even know where he is now. I think back with us, but hurt....Marlins picked him up on Rule 5, but returned him to the Astros Here is the latest on Rotoworld back in Feb. Riley Ferrell has been shut down from throwing by the Astros due to shoulder soreness. Ferrell has left the club and will head to Houston to visit with team doctors. At one point the right-hander was considered among the best relief prospects in baseball, but he's struggled to stay healthy for both the Astros and briefly the Marlins. More information on Ferrell's status should come out after the visit in Houston.

I have a good friend who is related to him in some way and I don't think he was aware of all of Ferrell's injuries.

David Wells speak for a lot of people......former players and the fans. Rob Manfred is destroying baseball with his idiotic decisions like this and the rule changes he implemented. Moving the all star game was nothing more than bowing and kissing the asses of the cancel culture.

What most people seem to forget is that McCullers most likely loses his touch for his curveball in either the first or second inning. Then he finds it for a few innings then his fastball slows down and flattens out. He would give everyone ulcers if he was a reliever.

Manfred is a complete and utter moron. If you can not fade the heat from skinny jeans wearing beta males with wicked keyboards get out of the boardroom. No one needs a weak leader

As opposed to relievers who pitch more often

He's also not good enough a pitcher to make a transition like that at this point in his career

That breaking ball broke about four inches over the center of the plate, belt high.

Probably not the right section of the board to post this, but Joe Musgrove no-hit the Rangers tonight. It was the first no-hitter for the Padres in over 8,000 games played.

Potentially we have our next great closer going to the pen when All our starters are healthy. Javier always seems to dominate everyone in his first inning. His stuff is not that fast but it moves around like a bb in a box car
