Straw looked good in the minors, too. We don't know what Siri or any of the rest will do up here until we look at them. We see what Straw will do.......nothing.

May 26, 2021 08:36 PM Astros' Pedro Baez: Yet to resume mound work by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Baez (shoulder) has not resumed throwing off a mound, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports. The 30-year-old had been throwing off flat ground from 90 feet last week, but he's been unable to progress to throwing off a mound. GM James Click declined to say whether Baez will return from the injured list before the All-Star break, so the right-hander doesn't appear particularly close to rejoining the Astros.

Leon is starting to warm up. In his last ten games he is 11for 37 with 5 walks. Not great but damn sure better. My guess is that as the summer wears on his stats will continue tO improve.

Great movie ...great casting.... All the years I've watched Stripes I never noticed the poster of Garry Templeton in a Cardinal uniform in the mud-wrestling bar. That film was released in theaters a few months before Templeton was traded to San Diego for Ozzie Smith

Rejoice Astros fans everywhere. Frances Martes just made his long-awaited return. He came on in the 4th inning for Sugarland with no outs and a runner on second. He got the first batter to ground out, walked the next three and then was replaced by a pitcher who can throw strikes.

In 6 games played in June, Leon is batting .467. Leon went 2-4 with 2 home runs yesterday. He is now batting .474 in June after batting .173 in May. He has cut way down on his strikeouts. He struck out 33 times in 75 ABs in May. So far in June he has struck out 3 times in 19 ABs. It looks like the team is intent on making a SS out of him. He has played 167 innings at SS and just 35 innings in CF so far. He has committed 3 errors in 60 total chances at SS. In that regard he is actually doing better than Grae Kessinger. Kessinger has committed 2 errors in 34 total chances.
