Bregman ran the bases too much yesterday. Surprised he doesn't get another day off.

Bregman ran the bases too much yesterday. Surprised he doesn't get another day off. Most of them ran the bases a lot yesterday. We can't give all of them the day off. If he needs a day off every time he has to run the bases, there is a problem. Glad to see Meyers back in the lineup where he belongs.

I think it's becoming quite clear that Chas isn't half the ballplayer that Meyers is.

Fun fact:
Ohtani is currently hitting .259. When he wins the MVP, he has the potential to have the lowest AB of any regular starting hitter to win a MVP award. However, he has a chance to have the highest AVG of any pitcher to win the award. (Walter Johnson won and hit .261.)
The lowest AVG for a hitter is .269.

I think it's becoming quite clear that Chas isn't half the ballplayer that Meyers is. That is crystal clear. Chas was doing pretty good until the hand injury. Now, there is no way he should play ahead of Meyers.

I am sure the fact that he plays in LA and is from Japan has nothing to do with it. If he played for Houston, KC, or Minnesota, he would not even be considered.

Who would you rather have Ohtani or Correa? CORREA. I will take an elite SS who plays every day over a DH who pitches all day long. I'd say the same thing if Ohtani was an American.

I think it's becoming quite clear that Chas isn't half the ballplayer that Meyers is. I disagree. I think Chas is at least five-eighths, maybe even three-quarters, the player Meyers is.

No one's done that in a hundred years

Ohtani is, at worst, a #2 starter, AND an all-star caliber hitter.
Correa is having a very good year but Ohtani is amazing. And I was not a believer in him when he got here. It was obvious he could hit, but what he's doing now is game-changing.

My idea of an MVP is the player who leads his team to a title, not the bottom of the league. Dawson and Rodriguez were impressive, no doubt about it.
