If León would be the guy, then they should trade for something else. I would think they would be getting a veteran OF to make a run for this season.....but if Chas or Siri could be in a packaged deal to get Wilson Contreras, I would all be for that move. l hear Upton is available for cheap

I don’t think they need Contreras, but they definitely need someone who isn’t an automatic out.

Leon is heating up at Sugar Land. He’s 8-18 with 3 home runs over his last 4 games to bring his batting average up to .341 and his OPS up to 1.318 for the month of May. If he continues at this rate he will be in Houston in a month or so. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Chas or Siri traded soon. I could see Chad or Siri being traded away to a losing team with aging, relatively expensive OF. Anyone in mind? Get Nathan on the phone. Trout would look decent in Houston.

I don't expect them to make a change at C this year if they stay on pace to win a 100+ games. I expect more bullpen help.

I don't think they will. I think Maldonado, right or wrong, has them brainwashed about his intangibles value.

I think the Astros need to up the ante offensive wise. Blue Jays and Yankees can mash. I wasn't truly concerned about the Yankees, but I was wrong to have Toronto tunnel vision. Plus the Yankees have been rumored as being interested in Wilson Contreras.

I'm disappointed in Nathan. I was hoping he would have worked out deal of getting us back Josh Harder via trading away Pedro Baez.

I would hope they add a bat somehow, but they haven't seen particularly interested in that the last five-ish years.

Ok... Not too shab for a rookie taking over a position vacated from one of the top SS in the game.

the post l was responding to said the the Angels never had a .500+ record in any year against Houston since 2013 Yeah and I got that you were and are entirely correct. Having said that it hardly seems like something I would highlight. Kind of brings home the point that the Angels have wasted a lot of good years for Mr Trout. Honestly I like the fact that the Angels are playing well and have some starters that are actually doing very well. But before you get overly excited you should take into consideration that none of your starters would be good bets to get close to 150 innings. I would break all that down in detail but it would be cruel and would serve no purpose. What is worse is after those top 5, who are doing very well right now, there is an empty ship. Enjoy the ride while it lasts. I'm in the minority in that I don't dislike the Angels. They were my favorite AL team from the 80s until Jim Thome's fifth or sixth season

One of their fans came on here a few years ago (2013, I think) to inform us that our team was bad. That was a blinding glimpse of the obvious. Strange, I think even then we won the season series from them.
