The only two guys hitting above 300 right now are Pena and McCormick. Lots of guys sucking wind.
The only two starters carrying their weight are Verlander and Garcia.
Javier has 13ks in 8.1 innings. Time to do a little shuffling there.

I'm pretty sure he had had atleast 100 games threw out his career there shaping Alveraz and him from 1b dh lf wouldn't be a bad platoon. Until you could find some one else to permanently take that spot. I still have alittle faith in Gurriel but it's getting might short. I already have a problem with his age |

I just looked at the details of Odorizzi’s contract that are posted on Cots and found this:
“21:$6M, 22:$5M, 23:$6.5M player option ($3.25M buyout)
2021-22 performance may increase 2023 option to $12.5M and buyout to $6.25M
2022 performance bonuses: $500,000 for 100 innings pitched. $1M each for 110, 120, 130, 140, 150 IP. $1.25M for 160 IP.”
I do not harbor any illusions that we can trade the guy, but we can control whether or not he pitches enough to qualify for any bonuses. He needs to be taken out of the rotation immediately, put at the end of the bullpen and used for mop up duty for the rest of the season. To allow this guy to qualify for any bonus would be inexcusable.
