Do you think Ronel Blanco and/or Enoli Paredes have any trade value at all? Yeah. Enoli is kind of like Abreu; multiple plus pitches, striking out dues left and right, but killing himself with walks. He have five years of control left and could always be one adjustment away from dominance. Blanco is similar and has all six years remaining. I can see a bunch of teams, even a few contenders, being interested in giving them multiple looks in the Majors. Obviously they would be deal-sweeteners rather than deal-makers though. |

Pedro Leon winter league watch: G 23, PA 82, AB 72, H 15, 2B 2, HR 2, SB 3, CS 1, BB 6, K 28, BA .208, OBP .272, SLG .319, OPS .591 En Fuego!!!! One thing I have noticed from Leon’s stats. Cintron must be reining in Leon’s base stealing attempts. In the minor leagues it seemed like every time he got on first base he tried to steal second and, if he was successful, then he tried to steal third. IIRC this past season he stole 35 bases, but got caught attempting to steal 18 times. He has only attempted to steal 4 times in winter ball. |
