Letting y'all know that Saint is in Methodist hospital ER, getting his feelings seen to after reading all this negativity about our CY-winning ace, McMullet. Is he going to be alright? I'm afraid it's terminal.

Is he going to be alright? I'm afraid it's terminal. I thought all he needed was a hysterectomy.

Thanks for the final well-timed run of success, Yuli.
Mancini starting and hitting the game-winning bomb in the boxes would be an incredibly poetic way to win it.

I'd be okay with that, but Dusty won't. In all seriousness, why not Urquidy? Pitching in the World Series doesn't seem to faze him, and he works quickly when there's no traffic I’d rather see him than Lance.

I'm afraid it's terminal. I thought all he needed was a hysterectomy. I remember when Kaz Matsui missed time due to historerectumy.

I'm afraid it's terminal. I thought all he needed was a hysterectomy. Would that save his life or just prevent him from being hysterical?

I hope he stays. Having said that, I am going to enjoy this title before I start worrying about roster construction for next season. We just won the freaking World Serious!

I would like to thank all the Yankee and Dodger fans that rooted for us during this Serious.

Valdez and Garcia impressed me on the mound this postseason. Our pen was off the charts. So many great things...

Some interesting information from a Jason Stark article:
Over the last 6 years here are some stats
W-L 541-329 win % .622 games over 500- 215 run differential +1,167 World Series wins 2 WS appearances 4 ALCS appearances 6
Last team to have a win % of .622 or better and win 2 WS - the 53-59 Mantle/Berra/Ford Yankees Last team to have 4 World Series appearances and 2 titles - Brooks Robinson 66-71 Orioles No other team in the Wild Card era has been to 6 straight Championship appearances.
Dynasty, yes I think so

So Bregman broke his finger and Altuve apparently hurt his hamstring. If it had gone to Game 7 we may have been in a very bad way...

Brantley with the shoulder and Castro and Yuli had bad knees. Yordan probably gets treatment on his hand(s). They were a mess and clinched at the right time.

There's other similarities between us and that Oriole team, if odd at that. Their first World Series they beat the Dodgers, and the next season the Red Sox took the pennant from them – just like us. In 1969, they had a huge advantage in regular season record, but lost the World Series. Just like us in 2019
I can imagine what those Oriole fans were like if they had an internet forum
