Yeah, Cleveland just scares me more than NYY for a reason I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe it's just that their pitching seems better. When we lose, it's usually because our offense get slapped around, and we seem to have a lot of very good pitchers who end up cracking under pressure. We'd be facing elimination right now if not for historic Yordan heroics.

Yeah, Cleveland just scares me more than NYY for a reason I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe it's just that their pitching seems better. When we lose, it's usually because our offense get slapped around, and we seem to have a lot of very good pitchers who end up cracking under pressure. We'd be facing elimination right now if not for historic Yordan heroics. Yeah but that's teh special thing about this team. It always feels like someone steps up big in any given series. A lot of the time it has been Altuve or Springer, but the last couple years it has been Yordan. |

Why is it so hard for us to find a guy like Hoskins for 1B? He's good but not an MVP so he isn't so expensive. Just a respectable good hitting power hitter.
(And I'm not bashing Yuli's contributions. He has had a couple good offensive seasons and he's a great scooper.)
