Keuchel should never have come out for the 6th.

I know the clipboard says "Must keep starter in till pitch count hits 100" but come on, Keuchel flirted with disaster in the 5th and wasn't going to get better.

To me, let McHugh finish this game rain or shine. Let the rest of the pen rest up. Cut our losses and get ready for Boston.

Wow, Marwin. Keep it in front and prevent the run from scoring. Jesus.

I don't know how we got the 2 runs .. I'm gonna assume it was a Gattis 2-run HR

I really think the team Jinxed itself when they came out and said We won't be the Cubs and they are becoming last year Cubs. Then Correa and asinine statement on MVP. Don't say anything go out and do it.

this is an example of an inning that probably would have ended a couple ABs ago had Reddick been in RF. It's really hard for me to be upset with Marwin and Jake if Reddick isn't healthy and the front office didn't have a plan for the OF other than Kyle Tucker They're just a couple of bench players and I've never estimated them to be anymore than that

How is Gurriel out? That's interference.

Don't say anything go out and do it. We're getting beaten at our own game. Everyone's inducing soft contact and shifting defensively against us. Lineup came out of spring training thinking it was gonna be more of the same

I don't get why that is interference on Yuli. He's in the basepaths and a fielder without possession of the ball, impeded his path.

I don't get why that is interference on Yuli. He's in the basepaths and a fielder without possession of the ball, impeded his path. Exactly. What is he supposed to do, stop and say "Excuse me!"? Run outside the basepath and be called out on that basis? The game should be played under protest for misapplication of a rule.

Unless the Astros tie the game, I'm all for leaving Collin in till the end. (probably just 5 more outs).

In that situation Yuli could have cut in front of him to block off, his view of fielding the grounder which is legal, that is if he was closer to Andujar.
