Kemp is quickly coming back down to Earth.

I'll consider this game a success if Correa can hit one ball hard.

Kemp is quickly coming back down to Earth. Kemp used the bunt in Cleveland, I don't know why in NY, where you have a first baseman with a gimpy ankle and a third baseman with no glove and scatter arm.

Starting to think Marshall is right. Correa has to have an injury.

Yeah we stopped bunting and slowed down the stealing too. Still, we played good enough to win two of these games.

Tucker has homered twice tonight for Fresno, and it's only the second inning.

McHugh for game MVP just for saving the bullpen and giving us a chance.

Tucker has homered twice tonight for Fresno, and it's only the second inning. I think his time is near. Seen enough of Jake a month ago.

I know it sucks we're going to lose this series, but we kept it close and could have won it. All this despite our offense not really going well, and our pen beat up.

On the plus side, we know that we can beat these good teams if we can figure out the recent bullpen issues. When? We’ve been waiting all season. All they’ve had is series wins against Cleveland and Seattle.

I don't see how Tucker would do worse than Jake.
The Super-Two date is coming up in about a month so it's likely Tucker comes up then. It would be nice to have him sooner but waiting the extra month will save the organization a few million bucks down the road so they will probably do that.

It would be nice to come back and take this game, the YES crew in the booth are already saying taking five of seven from the stros.

If anybody could hit beside Stassi and Altuve we'd still be in this game.

Stassi hit that double off a 100 mph fastball. OPS over .900 now

At least we know that in a playoff game against Severino, Stassi needs to be catching.

Springer and Correa have collapsed. They the Stros want to go anywhere they need their bats.

Looks like Correa could use 10 days on the DL. Hinch might just be reluctant to pull that trigger with Reddick and McCann also out.

Most likely, SEA moves into a tie with the Astros in the AL West.

Like I mentioned yesterday, it's probably time to put one of Keuchel/McCullers on the DL and let McHugh or Peacock get a couple starts in. Resting up might make them more effective in their next start. Also, it creates a roster spot to let Tyler White come up and platoon with Yuli or DH vs LHP.

Stassi is now tied with Realmuto at .929 OPS. Cervelli is the only MLB catcher who is hitting better that those two and his OPS is .934.

Game went as I predicted.........we did little against Severino, although Stassi continues to show why could be our #1 catcher........homer off Seveino and pulling Chapman's fastball is no easy feat. Correa still looks horrible....WE still need another bat........Wake up, Luhno........go get a bat and a closer. This team as it is will not repeat as WS chzmps.
PS: Keuchel would make decent trade bait.

Just going by what I hafe seen from Keuchel and the dead bat of Correa.

The Yankees committed 7 errors in the 3-game series and paid virtually no price for it. Easily the worst part of it all.
