In a dream world, it would be great to see him get one more championship with the Astros and take home a WS MVP. That would definitely shut people up about 2017. Does Jose reach 300 HRs before his career ends? I think so if he plays another 4 years or so past his current contract. Heck, if he can get and stay healthier, he's still on a pretty good pace to be one of the few 3000-300-300 players in history. |

If he had been a career leadoff hitter, I would say it isn't necessary. But since he has hit all over the lineup, I think he needs to reach 1000 RBI before he retires for HoF voters. |
