Altuve has had some bad luck. Gattis is just back to looking like his old self.

He walked last AB and he barely missed a HR yesterday. I'm not worried about Gattis. He wasn't going to maintain his June pace all season long.

Casilla, Trivino, Hatcher, Treinen, and maybe a bit of Buchter... somehow the A's have to get 5 innings of pitching out of those guys. it will be a bit of a stretch for them, esp if one or more get into trouble

If Luhnow wants to trade Kemp, his value will never be higher.
Kemp would be far and away better than Spangenburg for the Padres. Maybe package him for Hand, or Cimber, or Stammen.

the Hugs for Homers thing makes it easier to trade Kemp too. Whoever acquires him is going to acquire a player who is liked in the community, not some head case like Harper or Giles.
