The problem with Donaldson is even though he had a good August last year, he came back from injury after the ASB and it took a while for him to get going. October could be
over for us waiting on him to heat up again The potential reward is worth it to me. Obviously not giving up a top prospect, but a couple of higher level? Possibly. Now, here is a subject on which you and I agree. |

I heard Marisnick hit that HR last night with his personality and charisma. Probably helped him......I heard Kalas and Blum say more than once how glad the players were that Jake was back due to his energy, enthusiasm, and how he keeps things lively. He is going to strike out a lot unless he made a major improvement while at Fresno. But, he also brings what the players said plus defense and speed. If he had been in CF in that Ranger series I doubt if we would have been swept because he would have made a play or two that prevented runs from scoring. His hitting would not have hurt because most of the ones who played didn't hit |

Harris has given the ballclub bang for the buck in his stint here I don't think anyone can argue with that I'm pretty sure you can find some that would. I feel like I argued for Harris earlier in the year. |

Harris has given the ballclub bang for the buck in his stint here I don't think anyone can argue with that I'm pretty sure you can find some that would. I feel like I argued for Harris earlier in the year. l have seen harris pitch very well for us. I also can't count the times when he coughed up important games as he did against KC in 2015. He has a knack for giving up home runs that breaks our back. I don't trust him or Devenski in critical situations. |

In the offseason I think we pretty well determined that by the numbers alone, Harris has been the most consistent, enduring non-closer RP for the Astros since Larry Andersen. It's very rare for the Astros to have a reliever go three straight years with low ERA.

Harris has given the ballclub bang for the buck in his stint here I don't think anyone can argue with that Luhnow may surprise me and pick up that option on Harris for next year, but I really doubt it. The team has so many good arms in the minor leagues. Armenteros would already be in the big league with half the teams in mlb, but he had to repeat AAA this year because there just was no spot for him on the roster. When the team can plug a ML-ready guy from our minor league system into Harris’s role next season and pay him the league minimum $600,000 +/-, I just can’t believe they will pay Harris $5.5 million. |

I admit that I lost cofidence in Harris when he blew it to KC in 2015. I don't trust him at all as a playoff option out of the pen

He has been quoted as making some comments in the recent past....although I don't recall exactly what he said.....that would make anyone question his attitude. He would be risky, but, if the cost was cheap, probably worth it. |
