We weren't scoring another run anyhow today so it doesn't matter if we lost by 1 or by 6. That's the only good news.

Folks I’ve gotta tell you. Like it or not...and regardless of the regular season run differential stats of the two teams..., Boston has a better hitting team 1-9 + the bench. There is a reason they won 108 games in the regular season. This series could end before Game 6 like a lot of the predictions said .. just not in the direction everyone wanted

Bregman’s teammates couldn’t cash the check he wrote today. Maybe he will learn to save his boasting until after the team takes care of business in the future. Red Sox made him look like a fool today for running his mouth.

Red Sox made him look like a fool today for running his mouth. When I saw Evoldi bringing it at 101mph in the first, I knew some adrenaline was amping up these guys. Wish Bregman would tone down these antics.

Cora has a strategy that seems to be working: don't throw Bregman a strike. With Altuve not being normal Altuve and Correa sucking at the moment, we have to have someone step up (looking at Gurriel), and they haven't done it. Their backs are semi-up against the wall. Hope they respond better.

Altuve went 2 for 3, plus a walk and scored both runs.

Astros have scored 4 runs the last 15 innings. Can’t win this series doing that.

We have been outplayed and outmanaged the last two games. If we don't win the next two, this series is over..........we don't win two at Fenway

Where's coach defending Osuna? All I will say about this is he was terrible tonight........part of that goes to Hinch for not pitching him in 10 days and expecting him to be sharp. Yes he was awful, but, I would make that trade to get him everytime. Now, I will wait for that idiot, Saint. to show up and call him a wife-beater. Hinch has clearly been outmanaged by Cora. Hinch brings in Smith in the 6th when he had a pen full of better options. Cora stays with Evoldi to go six.....big difference in the game. Osuna hitting two hitters was due to not being sharp because Hinch failed to give him the work he needed. I remember Hinch saying after game one how good it was not to have to go to Osuna.....well, he should have given him an inning like he did in game one of the Cleveland series. Then, he allowd Kemp to swing 3-0 leading off the seventh when he represented the tying run. Hinch was taken to school by Alex Cora in this game.

I don't want to sound racist, but pre/post game punditry would be so much more pleasant if it wasn't; in broken English.

Anyone who has been paying attention to the Astros knows that Bregman has been carrying the team on offense for a while now. Cora is a good manager.

Hinch needs those damn analytics shoved up his ass. The clipboard telling him what "matchups" to use is killing us.

I'd move him down and bat Marwin in the four spot.

Pedro just called Bregman the most modest player in baseball. LMAO Listening to Pedro makes my ass want a dip of snuff. I have wanted to slug that son of a bitch ever since he grabbed a 72 year old Don Zimmer by the head and slung him to the ground. Pedro Martinez is a piece of shit

Why doesn’t he pitch inside on these hitters. He’s leaving pitches outside and they’re going the other way with him. Because Lindor type stuff might happen.

As injured as Correa and Altuve are, things are looking bleak relying on Springer having to drive in the bottom of the order, long swing Gurriel, and Marwin. That’s our entire offense outside of Bregman.

I usually don’t stick up for Hinch, but his managing in last year’s postseason was downright masterful.

Hinch is a little snappy and defensive in the postgame conference.
(Slowly backing away.)

We’re not giving the Sox enough credit. This series was never going to be easy. This comes down to the offense. If they don’t get their act together, they might not be going back to Boston.
