As injured as Correa and Altuve are, things are looking bleak relying on Springer having to drive in the bottom of the order, long swing Gurriel, and Marwin. That’s our entire offense outside of Bregman. That and Verlander, Pressly & McHugh can't pitch all the innings left between now and the end of the World Series

Plenty of blame to go around. Lots of stats of course, but here are a couple that kind of tell the tale...
Astros LCS batting average through 3 games- .193 Astros LCS ERA through 3 games- 5.19
We are lucky to only be down 2-1.

I get that everyone dislikes AJ, but the players have to perform well enough for his moves to drag the team across the finish line. Those stats there say the players aren't holding up their end of the bargain here

“We’re not giving the Sox enough credit.”
Correct. They won 108 games. They are the best team in baseball in 2018. The Astros were the best team in baseball in 2017 and would like to think they are in 2018, but they are not. The Boston Red Sox are they best team in baseball in 2018 until some team proves otherwise by eliminating them from the playoffs.
Memo to Alex. You will not eliminate the Red Sox by running your mouth.

Weren't we behind during the ALCS at one point last year also? Maybe we'll hit better with an underdog mindset...

Pedro just called Bregman the most modest player in baseball. LMAO Listening to Pedro makes my ass want a dip of snuff. I have wanted to slug that son of a bitch ever since he grabbed a 72 year old Don Zimmer by the head and slung him to the ground. Pedro Martinez is a piece of shit Settle down, son. You’re gonna throw your hip out.

Unless the offense picks up we’re toast.

Seeing Porcello starting tonight, Morton better be on his game.

Would everyone please whip out their Weber grills (or similar) and make a nice grilled meat sacrifice to the baseball gods.

Dodgers tied up their series. We need to do the same. I want to see a rematch.

. This comes down to the offense. So you are saying scoring anything less than 9 runs was sub-standard? For Game 3, the offense was at fault. I’d say that Game 2 was on Cole and possibly Hinch.

Altuve went 2 for 3, plus a walk and scored both runs. Yes. He's also been forcing the issue at the plate causing him to swing at crap pitches more than usual. I hope this signals a turnaround because Boston has already signaled that they're not going to let Bregman beat them. Other players are going to have to pick up the slack or these boys will be watching the WS at home. Gurriel is the one with whom I'm most upset; he's a chopping ground ball machine lately. The guy behind Springer, Altuve and Bregman has to have at least average production or we are screwed. So far, we've been screwed save for the opposite-field HR in Boston.

Glad Machado got his dirty ass fined for that clip job at first base last night. He's about as big a piece of shit as Carlos Gomez.
