Per mlbtr.com Realmuto trade is almost finalized. Come Dodgers, you can do it. Let's get this crap over with.

I find it interesting that Miami might allow San Diego a chance to extend him before they trade for him. If that is the case I would not mind us getting back in.....Don't shoot me guys.

current 2019 projected payroll is $177 million including player benefits. That should leave around $29 million to play with until reaching the first luxury tax threshold. Crane could safely spend $20 million before OD and still have another $9 million to use in case a move requiring cash needs to be made during the regular season. climbingtalshill.com/2019/01/25/breaking-astros-current-2019-payroll/

The Reds had Sonny Gray sign an extension before they completed the trade with the Yankees to get him. If we could get Realmuto without giving up Tucker or Whitley and he would sign an extension, then, go get him.

I find it interesting San Diego would want Realmuto long-term when they traded for the best catching prospect in the majors a few months ago

this is for you since you feel unappreciated You like to assume things, don't you? I'm just trying to figure out what it is you're saying. If you're going to call people moron, I'll remind you I wasn't the one who suggested we could land Michael Fulmer in a trade for Tyler White and a mid-level prospect. Pretty sure that was you

Lol we wait and see who gets him. What do you think? Honestly, I think if we as in Crane and Lunhow could negotiate a long term deal like the Padres are demanding then Tucker would be gone already. And I really dont see the Dodgers getting him. Same with the Braves. I thought I reselently seen there GM talk about adding a Pitcher or two. I think this is a ploy to drive in more offers. I could be wrong

It was moronic for people to assume we could land Castellanos and Fulmer without giving up Whitley or Tucker.
