Interesting tidbit Bryce Harper for 3yrs 90m for a chance at a ring with opt on on hit 3rd year to get a better long term deal when he is 28 to 29 yrs old? Would the Astros be interested? Honestly I think they are 1 of those 8 teams. I think this is the Lunhow guy, but is it the Lunhow move? If you where able to do this, you would certainly have to make room and clear alittle salary. Reddick and Gurriel. Food for thought fellas From your litany of potential Astros trade or FA signing proposals/rumors, the one that most intrigues me is Seth Lugo. Therefore, I am extending the olive branch to you....please share with us your trade proposal between the Mets and the Astros for Seth Lugo. What the Astros could offer and the Mets would take....Clue - it has to be fair and good for both parties... Lol Idk it would depend on needs. And they already have the best trade chip we had when they got J.D. Davis. I think we could start one at Rogelio Armentaros and Ronnie Dawson maybe add in a low level guy. But I wouldnt go further then that. I think they need to get pitching of some sort ready for the long term. If they believe they have to move Noah and they want Degrom and there are Question Mark's behind them. Then you have to think who do they have after that? It's a what if or not for there future?

He isnt a ace at either. He is avg to above avg depending. Sure he has control but still he is a McHugh type player. I would think in the 6 to 8 m type of player.

I can tell you this Marcus Stroman for 2 to 3 top 30 sp minor league arms.
It could be done.

Granderson signs a minor league deal with the Marlins. If that's your best option it's time to retire.

People want Realmuto but dont wanna mess with Jeter. So that seems to be the issue

I assume everyone is waiting for him to come back begging to them before they deal for Realmuto.

Granderson signs a minor league deal with the Marlins. If that's your best option it's time to retire. We see these kinds of contracts quite often with once great players who might have just a little toothpaste in the tube, Saint. The minor league deal is mainly for insurance purposes while he's in ST. He'll have an opt-out date, probably around the end of April or May if they don't put him on the active roster. Guaranteed $1.75mm if they do activate him. I would be surprised if he doesn't do a swan-song season in Detroit before he hangs up his cleats for good.

If the Phillies are willing to offer up Jorge Alfaro in a trade for Marlins and they miss him. Well I would so try and get him as a fall back. That dude is gonna be a stud. Makes no since to trade him as all. They must be desperate to get star names

Luhnow is not the mystery suitor. All I can say is. No one knows when he makes his moves. It's out of the box type stuff that made everyone say where the hell did that come from I didnt even know we were interested. This seems like that type of deal he would be on. Think like this. Wife loves Texas. Bryce talks big about the Astros. (Several GMs confirmed) And to top it off We are always in the Playoffs know and we could give him a better deal after Brantley and Springers contracts come up. It's a perfect circle. Nats, Phillies, White Sox, Padres .. and it's those 4 for Harper

I know they're common deals, but, insurance purposes or not, it is still only a minor league deal with one of, if not THE worst, current teams in baseball.

I have wonder if the Ray's would be intereasted in a Tommy Pham for Josh Reddick, A.J. Reed and some lower level guys?
I only mention this due to the tiff that Tommy Pham had with fans and ownership.
It would be perfect for Reddick. close to home.

And I still think the Astros need to sign Derek Dietrich.
If your gonna move on from a Tony Kemp because of his short comings from the oF.
Then a very versital player would be ideal. Reddick to the Giants or Ray's would be his best spots.
I also think keuchal to the Blue Jays, Reds, Braves or Phillies .
Marwin to the Braves, Red Sox, Phillies or Reds.
Gattis would be perfect for the Rays.
Maldonado Rays

Seen a pretty cool rumor. Doubtful but would be interesting
Miguel Cabrera, Nick Castellanos and Micheal Fulmer plus some cash on Cabreras deal on years 2021 threw 2023 his vasting options would be declined some where around 60 million paid over 3yrs
For Yuli Gurriel, Josh Reddick, J.B. Bukouskas, Yordan Alveraz and Tony Kemp.
It was on the trade talk board for Bleacher report. Alot of reaction to it.
I would like it and hate it at the same time. Due to Cabreras contract on 2019 and 2020
