I read an article where one of the Cardinals pitchers is saying he expects the players to strike, possibly with some players possibly walking out as soon as midpoint of this coming season.

I mean we know from abregmanfan that he was/is in the hospital. 3 weeks is a long time! I hope he is ok. I am sending my thoughts/prayers your way Corch. Wouldn't it be ironic if it was his back? That would be very ironic. If it's his back, maybe we can get Correa to visit him in the hospital.

I sent an email to his address on record, but no response as of today. I sent him a private message via the message board and got no response.

Coach should know better than to date Daniella's sister.

I’m sure we all feel so sorry for the rich owners and rich players squabbling over billions of dollars. Cry me a river. People like Manny Machado should be thankful they get paid unusually well to be asshats.

Let them walk and see what happens. They will be sorry. Yep. Man, I hope that doesn't happen. I see many of us here saying F' MLB, and probably end up not going to games or even watching MLB again....I could watch college baseball on TV, and maybe go see a Rice or a UH game.

I thought this was pretty interesting. And good on Khris Davis for being reasonable. Any AL team outside of Boston would be crazy to not want his offensive production for 2-years $20 million. www.mlbtraderumors.com/2019/02/latest-on-khris-davis-athletics.htmlObviously there are big holes in his game, but in the three years he has had more than 600 PAs, he is averaging 44 HR 112 RBI 91 Runs and a 130 OPS+. Those are better totals than Harper with a similar OPS+.

Khris Davis has the most deceptive swing in the majors. Everything looks like warning track fly balls or doubles off his bat, but they leave the yard. I can only compare it to Lance Berkman. They both had such easy fluid swings.

He’s also proof that arm strength has nothing to do with power.

Dam my sources were wrong. What kind of source do you have up there yankee? Is nathangarza reporting it? I did use a Yankee source, my cousin the Mets fan, I called him out on it.

I sent an email to his address on record, but no response as of today. While I understand the concern, if he has been moved to a long term recovery Hospital, it could be weeks or even months before he is able to get back online. Let us hope and Pray that this is his situation.

Let him and any co-conspirators do this. Unless they are Free Agents, they are just breaking their contracts and should be sued in court.
ps I seem to recall something about treble damages in situations involving intentional breaking of contracts to intimidate the other parties to the contract.

Hooray for a reasonable ball player!

I don't know about a hometown discount, but if Nelson Cruz can get a $14 million deal with an option for a second year at $12 million when he is 37 years old, I figure Davis should be able to get what he is asking for. Heck, he'd even be worth a 3-year $30 million deal, imo. He's about as consistent a power hitter as you can get over the last 3 years.

Once you hit about age 40 and have 3 or 4 kids, it’s time to stop leaning on the “internet bad ass” trope, son.
