Would that mean they’re out of the Bryce sweepstakes? 6 yrs 140+million for Corbin Contract was even ten minutes before the Ap wire

So before you say I didnt please understand I did...
I'm not saying I'm connected I'm saying I know where to look and who to talk to.
I dont talk to anyone? I’m dangling Abraham Toro first, they can use an upgrade at 3B for the future and it won’t be such a punitive hit if they package him. True. Try to get Charlie Morton back (1 year, 2020 option offer), keep McHugh & Peacock in the pen, liked them better there but CM could be your 4 or 5. Peacock can’t go 5.0 without falling apart. I’d be here for J Happ reboot if the price were right. And that’s the insane part. Yuli would be in the equation and that’s a great problem to have. Unless he’s packaged but takers may balk at the $10.4M he’s making this season.
That's the responses from house of houston when I talked about just adding Grienke Realmuto and Goldschmidt trying to resign Morton and go for Happ

The one thing you gotta understand is we are all Astros fans.
My English may be bad when I type. I talk better then typing. But I'm a true sports fan across the board. Astros Stars Rockets Cowboys
But I also like to post what the Write quietly talk about behind the Twitter verse. I can tell you this Astros arent gonna set back and do nothing
And the contract Patrick Corbin signed is what should be aimed for for Gerrit Cole.

So getting back to what I was saying.
Harper has intrest in the Astros. I dont understand why and it doesn't get talked about I guess because it's not a high spender or the Yankees.
But I do understand that it's a hard buy for this club. That contract would be very detrimental to this club. It would almost mean Springer is gone and we already understand Reddick is done after the contract

Overwhelmingly the majority of Astros deals under Luhnow come from almost no where. I expect any further deals will be the same. Did anybody even know we were talking to Chirinos? No. Just like nobody knew we were talking to the Nationals about Harper at the non-waiver trade deadline, but we learned recently that Luhnow actually had a deal in place to acquire Harper at the deadline until the Nats ownership vetoed it. Yup. That would have been an impressive pick-up.

Copied from ESPN - ranking of 2020 FAs...BTW - Cole was the 2nd highest ranked FA (Nolan Arenado was 1st) and the highest ranked pitcher (even ranked ahead of Sale - who was 4th). Need to Re-sign Cole and Verlander.
I mentioned Sonny Gray before as a possible trade candidate...he definitely is a buy-low candidate, if you see the write up below, you will see his Away Game Era is 3.17....(not too shab).
26. Sonny Gray, New York Yankees (30)
2018 stats: 11-9, 4.90 ERA, 130.1 IP, 123 SO, 0.6 WAR
Gray was good on the road (3.17 ERA) but lousy at Yankee Stadium (6.98 ERA), and Buster Olney wrote the other day that the Yankees believe he's one of those guys who just couldn't handle New York. His fastball velocity was the same as always, although as Olney pointed out, he threw it a lot less (35 percent) than he has in the past. He needs a change of scenery, and if he bounces back, he'll move up this list.
Trade bait: Yes. Pretty much a sure thing the Yankees find a taker for him (Reds or A's are good bets).

I like Sonny Gray. I think a good pitching coach like Strom could help him. If he comes here he needs a long term catcher to stick with him. No new faces. Speaking of Catcher Jonathan Lucroy. Dont ask why just watch him.

Spoiler alert rumor is Santana of the Mariners Well there was some talks about the Astros might have talking to them about him and seeing if they would take Joe Smith and pay 8 million on his final year plus two low level prospects

The Yankees want to unload him........Word is the Reds are interested.

I know the auto correct is usually blamed, but most errors are from ignorance of linguistics over the last 40 years. There/their/they're and two/to/too used to occupy a bit of time and now is relegated to indifference.

I just wanna know what will rock the Astros? Harper is the only name that would. And like said before Springer would be gone. Harper would be the last star I would want in Houston. Selfish player who can sour a club house with his mere presence. I'd prefer Springer over this dip shit.
