The Padres have a young Altuve-esque 2B named Luis Urias they're supposedly going to give a shot. Speaking of the Padres..., they’re farm system is loaded. 4 of the top 10 lefthanded pitching prospects in all of ML baseball are in the San Diego farm system. Yeah they have a future if they do things right. Eric Hosmer was not the right move...

Wow. Blue Jays just released Tulowitzki. Going to eat the $38 million he has left on his contract.

The future's coming quicker than you'd think for the #Astros. Bryce Harper would great aid their efforts to stay forever young (19/30): t.co/MRbWVThssY

Sources: #Astros interested in free agent Michael Brantley. They would like to add a left-handed bat but are somewhat wary of blocking 21-year-old outfield prospect Kyle Tucker for the long term. @mlb @mlbnetwork

Phillies spend like they in da club. They Phillies are like kids in a candy store, they are after everything. Probly overkill. Braves likely to regress with all the overachieving they did last year

If they get Brantley he plays LF and if they sign Harper do you let him play LF or protect your investment and move him permanently to 1B and spot OF

We keep hearing that dealing Reddick is a possibility......has anyone shown interest in him that has something we want in return?

I believe as soon as they figure this conundrum out Tucker will be traded. Adding Brantley doeant stop them from going big some where else. But if you add Brantley and Harper says I want to play in Houston. You got scenarios. 1. Trade Tucker 2. Trade Yuli and Reddick free up some money Play Tucker all year in RF 3. Package Yuli and Tucker for a SP

Heard #Phillies choice came down to McCutchen vs Brantley at similar prices. Brantley’s LH bat fit better but durability was huge issue and thought Brantley has his eye on another team

Another note Astros could look into Jackie Bradley Jr to play CF and shift Springer to the COF. Why would Boston consider dealing Xander Bogaerts?? They are said to be open to dealing Porcello and Bradley Jr.

I think the reason Astros like Brantley is he doesn't strike out much and his at bats are productively good

I think the reason Astros like Brantley is he doesn't strike out much and his at bats are productively good He needs to be DH ...and then you have to see how much he is asking for in years and money....and then compare that to of Cruz's asking price or the Cardinals for Martinez
