White sucks, too. I deal with 1 problem at a time. Once Joke is deleted, I will move on to White if he’s still sucking. Edited to add: Holy shit. You just compared Joke to MVP Altuve. Stop drinking immediately, and report to the nurses station for your lithium. I only pointed out the numbers of Jose and Jake at the present time. I am in no way saying that Jake is close to being as good as Altuve. But, you keep bitchin about a guy who currently has better numbers than an MVP

Give us Alvarez and dump lardass White

Don’t misinterpret what bum said...he didn’t say he didn’t want to come here. He put all of those contenders on his list because it gives him bargaining power...he wants a 3 year extension before he will accept a trade. He only put contenders on his list because non contenders won’t be trading for him.

Im a fence guy on him. I would and wouldnt.
I would lean more on Marcus Stroman who is rubbing the Jays real bad currently trying to force his way out. And Aaron Sanchez.
If you could add both of those guys it would be a steal. Im betting Cole is gone and Miley is iffy. We havent seen nothing on james that says he will be a SP as of late.

Honestly my targets
Alfaro C from the Marlins M. Stroman and A. Sanchez of the Jays
Thats the only targets I would aim for.
I think our minor league system is stacked to a certain point.
I have no faith in Tucker in the Majors. His style and his unorthodox styles to playing just dont work in the Majors aginst top flight players.
Hope im wrong. But only time will tell.
Baseball is a confidence game. You gotta go up there everyday think im gonna get a hit. U have to learn to adapt. He just doesnt show he can adapt or change to the game.
Alveraz can easily be the same. But we wont know till he gets his shot like Tucker did. Straw same boat. But Straw did hit when he was up in the short amount of time.
Guys like White, Kemp, Stassi and Jake feel they have it made and they are locks. And the Astros are 10 games up. So they feel they have time to adjust. But how long does it take?
Times running out. You wanna get those young giys time before the playoffs if we even make it. Anything can happen is what i mean.
Alvarez replaces White. Straw replaces Kemp. Trade for Alfaro he replaces Stassi. Jake is the wild card.
Same with out bullpen Devenski needs to go James needs to go down.
There are guys who could come and replace them. Tyler Ivy is a guy that would be a nice look this year

I would lean more on Marcus Stroman who is rubbing the Jays real bad currently trying to force his way out. Stroman can't force anything. The Blue Jays own him for the remainder of this season and all of next. They can use him or trade him as they see fit. Marcus has absolutely no say in the matter. If you're talking about the little tantrum he threw when he got the hook yesterday, I don't think that's a big deal. Neither does he or Charlie Montoyo. But if you think there's genuine lingering hostility in Stroman, would you really want him on your team? Being fired up about getting the hook is actually a good thing in the moment. It shows a fierce competitive nature. But afterward, if a pitcher can't come to terms with his manager pulling him, he's not a team player and I wouldn't want any part of him no matter what level of skills he has.

Its been said several times Stroman wants out. The jays just havent pulles the trigger. This has been said since 2017. And it was really badly being pushed last year. But fell on def ears. Sanchez is a another. I think he could be fantastic on another team and really flurish with a chance of scenery. Is is doing great at the moment, dont get me wrong. But he could be better else where with a better Pitching coach. In comes Our Coach. It could be a winning combo for us in the long run.

NO chance the Marlins want to flip Alfaro. He was the centerpiece in the Realmuto deal. I think there would be a chance. And the cebtwr piece was Sexto the top SP in the Phillies organization. They are 8 games under .500. I thought nk there could be a way to get him. I would start with package of J.B. and Stubbs and see where it goes

This has been said since 2017. And it was really badly being pushed last year. But fell on def ears. That doesn't sound like a guy I would want on my team. Most players want to be on contending teams but they have the class to stay engaged and committed to the team (and community) they're currently in. Those are the kinds of players who make a team, not just a collection of talented Pissy Little Bitches. Verlander was all-in with the Tigers until he was traded. Now he's all-in with the Astros. JDM was all-in with the Tigers until he was traded. And he was all-in with the Diamondbacks while they had him. Those are the kinds of players who add to a team in more ways than just their talent. Zack Greinke is an elite pitcher but he was a whiny little jerk when he was with the Royals. Thank goodness they were able to trade him to the Brewers and get great talent in return. That talent added to the emerging talent they had and became the core of the WS winning team in 2015. I wouldn't piss on Zach Greinke if he was on fire. www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-world-series-notes-20151027-story.html

I just think if your stuck on a team and want out and nothing else works then you just start being dumb and acting like a two yr old. You try anything. Disclaimer im not in anyway saying there even in the same reality of a player or career but its kinda like Barry Sanders. Alot of people didnt know he wanted out of Detroit. For his last three season he wanted out. And you see what he did when they didnt allow him to do so. Kinda like Calvin Johnson wants to come back but Detroits says nah ur here or ur retired. Ive seen alot of reports about players in the Jays organization where there not ran very well and dont really care about there players. You can kinda sympathize with the player when you see it in action

Alot of peeps where high on Deetz aswell but wheres he at? Bullpen is very competative. I just dont like J.B. stuff overall. Sure he has a good spin rate and all but he has to have better command and actually make bats miss his meatballs

I just think if your stuck on a team and want out and nothing else works then you just start being dumb and acting like a two yr old. You try anything. Or you can be a real man and honor your commitment to your team and your sport and play your ass off until you reach free agency. You can kinda sympathize with the player when you see it in action You can if you want to. I won't. Marcus is being paid seven and a half MILLION dollars to play for the Blue Jays (or whomever they might trade him to) this year and he'll be paid even more next year. STFU and throw the ball, Marcus. Quit acting like a baby! Stay engaged with the team you're on or get the hell out of baseball. Barry Sanders. Alot of people didnt know he wanted out of Detroit. For his last three season he wanted out. And you see what he did when they didnt allow him to do so. I'm calling bullshit on that one unless you can link to a direct quote from Barry Sanders saying he wanted to be traded. After he retired, he did say that he was exhausted and became disgusted with the Lions front office for not making a real effort to build a winning team. But to the best of my knowledge, he NEVER said he wanted to be traded. Those are two VERY different things. www.espn.com/nfl/news/story?id=1662343Barry was the consummate professional both on and off the field. He was humble and put his TEAM above all else.

Watch his documentary. He has said as such in several interviews. He was tired of being the only guy. Ive seen it on the NFL network several times. He even went as far as saying he asked them to give him help and they just sat there and drafted dud players. He asked for oline help. Got nothing. You can also read his book. It says it several times the one he realesed in 2013. I know football. Very very well. And Sanders was a favorite of mine. He could put the bar way higher then Emmitt Smith did. And the fact he retired at 30yrs old almost 31. Tells you he could have made it till he was 35 to 36 yrs old. It clearly says he was tired of losing and getting no help

How the F can i link a book u must pay for? Can u tell me that please. No problem. - Type WORD FOR WORD the exact statement he made in the book (no paraphrasing allowed) where he said he wanted to be traded.
- Post the title of the book, the publisher, the date of printing, and the PAGE NUMBER where the statement was made.
I'll then grab a copy from the library and verify the accuracy. If you can do that, I'll relent. Until then, I'm calling bullshit.

"I was crying because I knew it was over.I knew I wanted to be traded, But ownership would never allow that to happen," Sanders says in the book, "Barry Sanders.
Its like halfway threw somewhere in the middle i had to find it in my copy.
He basically says he was very fustrated that the team would not ever build a winning team. And they would never trade there show horse to another team.
He said he was there prized and only golden ticket.
He never criticized straight forward the Lions organization. But he knew they would never be a contender and never spend the money to get better. He asked for a trade and ownership shrugged him off as a last ditch effort to continue to play football. Then he decided to retire.
He even said a yr after he came back to the team and asked them to trade his wrights to another club and they flat out said "your with us, or no one."
Js its a good read
