Lol I had zero faith in Kyle Tucker. Called it when i daid he wont be much. He still has time to turn it around but damn. You put im on a high horse and he got kicked off really quick. Looking at what would be good adds Boyd the reliver Stroman Maybe Archer if he becomes avaliable I think Stassi has to go so a good back up who can hit at .250ish Yordan replaces White. And some other OFer replaces Kemp. Marisnick does have small value but his bat is his key to staying. His def is A+++ but is bat is bad. Sorry. I hope you are around when Tucker proves you wrong. No need. He wont be around if he keeps this crap up.

I think The Clash covered it 20 years later But the Clash aren't from Texas.
(However they did feature an armadillo in one of their videos.)
that video was filmed in Austin though. And the Burger King is still there

I wonder if The Clash have experienced a renaissance due to being featured so prominently on Stranger Things.

Clash were way over rated. Listen to the Ramones or Sex Pistols if you want a primer of early Punk pioneers.

However, the Sex Pistols, no thanks. In all music discussions, there are always going to be variations in peoples tastes, so I respect that. The Sex Pistols basically made one album, but it was pure raw punk, and brought an rebel-ic edge that lives much in the genre today. One of my most surreal concert experiences was in 1983 when the Ramones appeared at a bar near me, and I was one of 17 people attending. The guys played on for 2 hours just like it was a 20,000 person venue. Very professional, and energy was still top notch like the legends that they were. OTOH...The Clash? No thanks, they pretty much filled in the UK raw Punk void after the demise of the Sex Pistols.

Oh, and if we're talking early Punk pioneers ...
and ... These groups were punk before 'punk' even existed.

The Filth and the Fury and Rock 'n Roll High School are two of my favorite movies. I agree the Clash were more of a pop band. They always were

If they don’t fix the back end of the rotation via trade, then either Whitley or Martin is going to have to be thrown into the fire. Peacock or McHugh are good enough for relief. Right now, those guys are having too many outings like Apollo Creed in Rocky IV.

Go get Stroman and Sanchez from the Blue Jays . Look for another DH/1B/OF Bat. Problem solved. You move McHugh to the Bull Pen and your choice of Miley or Peacock to the Pen and your golden. Astros desperately need to move on from Stassi, Kemp, White and if some one can do what Marisnick is doing he would be in the list aswell.

Correa is the best at it and Altuve kills more innings with DP's than anyone in the league. Jake is not a good hitter, but, only pointing out his weaknesses while ignoring the "stars" who do the same thing is ridiculous. Right now, the bat boy may ou outhit Altuve.

What do the last few posts have to do with trades we need to make? I was trying to comprehend that too. What I got out of it was, Johnny Rotten will be the new Astros closer and Iggy Pop will be the set-up man. And poor 'ol Sid Vicious, I guess he gets to haunt the Crawford Boxes getting drunk on Crawford Bock.

Joke has batted ninth in every game he's started this year. So he's unlikely to even come to the plate with the bases loaded. But he's making the 'most' of those opportunities. He's 0for2 with a K.
Carlos has a walk (and an RBI) in his only plate appearance with bases loaded this year. No K
Oh, ya wanna talk about all strikeouts? Okay...
Yes, Correa has more strikeouts than Marisnick if we only look at totals. But only someone with their head so far up their own ass they can taste yesterday's lunch would only look at totals. Marisnick has far less than HALF as many plate appearances than Correa. So naturally his total strikeouts will be less.
But sorry to burst your love-bubble ...
Correa's strikeout rate is 26.8%
Marisnick's strikeout rate?
Wait for it ...
A little longer ...
I promise it will be worth it ...
30.4%
Yep, that's right! Marisnick is striking out at a higher rate than Correa. Oooops!

Nice research but nobody said Correa struckout more than Marisnick. I said Correa takes a lot of called third strikes and often with RISP.

Of course. I base by rebuttals on facts, not some random shit pulled out of my butt. nobody said Correa struckout more than Marisnick. Okay fine, let's look at what you DID say: if some one can do what Marisnick is doing he would be in the list aswell. Leaving the bases loaded while standing at the plate with the bat on his shoulder? Who CAN'T do that? Correa is the best at itOoopsie! As I said in my previous post, Correa has a completely acceptable walk in his only plate appearance with the bases loaded this season. Not a K. Marisnick? 0 for 2 with a K. Speaking of striking out, Corch ... take a seat.

But that blew up in your face. Carlos is clearly NOT best at leaving the bases loaded. Get this through that thick skull of yours. When it comes to batting with the bases loaded, Carlos rules and Jake drools.
