Maybe AJ should call an uber for Jake to nowhere when the team leaves town.

Tony Sipp...... Why is it when you light him up the other players catch on fire? High octane

Poorly played by Gordon. Altuve! Is it just me or does the Seattle defense look like hammered goat scat.

The Mariner's Gordon experiment in CF has been exploited by the Stros.

The sad thing is, Sipp played better than Jake.

Win the series!
13-7 on the season. Three game winning streak. On to Chicago for some payback.
Altuve, 3 for 4. Four RBI’s and a walk. Another gem from Morton.

Astros survive one of the dumbest triple plays in history and go on to win. Gotta love it. The win I mean, not the triple play.

Gattis Bonehead Triple Play is going viral in baseball blooper video circles.
I heard one poster suggest that Kangaroo Court might be brutal.
Me? I'd prefer A.J bench his ass for about a week so he won't forget next time.

I told my son that triple play will only seem funny if we win.
There are a few things better than taking in a ballgame with your son. But not many!

I told my son that triple play will only seem funny if we win. Never funny for a team considered among the three best in MLB to ever let that happen. This is beyond a lack of focus. You always run out a hit fair ball. That is about the 2nd or 3rd thing you learn in little league.

I have only ever seen such a triple play in little league. Meaning, one in which the runner at first goes clueless about the number of outs and starts heading to the dugout. Has anyone seen one in "professional" baseball, i.e. minor or major leagues?

I assumed the shutout was history when Sipp came in and I was right. I have never seen a more BONEHEAD play than Gattis pulled on the triple play. No excuse for that. Jake needs to be sent down....he is as messed up as it gets. On the bright side, another dominant game by Morton and the bats came to life and we win the series.

Other than Gattis and Jake, this game and yesterday's started to seem like the Astros baseball we have come to love and expect. Onward to Chicago and a chance to face the team that swept the Astros last year.

Maybe Gattis only loses the plot on days when he's batting cleanup

Take it easy guys we won. With all the double-plays we've hit into this year I'm sure if I were Gattis I would've assumed mine ended the inning too

I think that we can all agree that Houston has not played it's best ball this year or even to our expectations. Now having said that we are playing at a pace that would result in us winning 105 games. Not shabby for playing so poorly.

Update : I noticed that he did actually run it out, but strayed thinking it was an inning ending dp. Still a dumbass play to say the least.

Pollock and Owings just had an ugly collision on the warning track in Arizona even though the ball was caught and runner was doubled off second

Jake has struck out 11 times in his last 13 at bats....either keep him on the bench or send him to Fresno. Bring up another bat.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dumber play than what Gattis did in the game. Well, he’s got a cool beard and nickname so it’s not a big deal.
