I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dumber play than what Gattis did in the game. Well, he’s got a cool beard and nickname so it’s not a big deal. I have to admit, he does have a great beard. Much better than Keuchels beard.

Break out of what? He’s playing at his skill level LOL just going by what Sparky and Hudgens said.

We need to see that offense carry over from last night. Uncle Charlie is due for a less than amazing start as well. Stop warning us about the Ides of March, son.

This could possibly be a historic starting rotation. This series the SP’s gave up 2 earned runs in 4 games, and they came in a complete game loss. My gosh.

Maybe he should swing at them. When, in his career, was he known to draw a lot of walks?

Altuve finally appeared to break through yesterday. Got a little bit of help on that final double (I think it was misplayed by Gordon), but he showed some pop and looked better at the plate other than the first AB. If he gets going this team will continue to stay on fire.

Looks like it will be in the 40’s at game time of 7:10pm CDST.

Yes, and the bullpen only gave up 4 runs in 4 games... could have been better, but generally speaking, if a bullpen only gives up an average of one run per game, it's going to be very hard for opponents to win unless they jumped all over the starter.

Luck goes both ways, but hitting the ball hard is what matters. And those were hit hard without being pulled. Also, per baseball-reference.com he is currently a .4 dWAR player. That's pretty good.

I’m happy they didn’t catch those fly balls. Altuve, well the whole team, deserved some breaks for a change.
