If they IL Springer tomorrow they can call Straw back up to replace Springer without Straw having to wait the full 10 days after being optioned to AAA on August 27. I know it’s just a couple days, but I would go ahead and IL Springer, call up Straw to replace him and stick Straw at leadoff until George gets back. I’d also stick Tucker in the outfield and give Brantley a much needed rest. |

If Brantley gets on, Bregman has a chance to tie the game. If two runners get on then even with 2 outs Toro has a chance to play hero again. Doubt either happen that way
