Rondon's throwing in the dirt when he should be attacking high in teh strike zone, or even slightly higher than the strike zone.

I hope Hinch pinch hits for Jake in the bottom of the inning. I have to think that with Reddick in this game, the score would be at least 2-1.And a good chance we'd be ahead. |

Reddick still hit LHP with an OPS that was above the AL average. No reason to bench him just based on L/R matchup.

McCann has one of the slowest pop-up times among MLB catchers. Good arm but it doesn't mean much if it takes you too long to get ready to throw.

I know everybody is mad about Gattis and Jake, our 1-5 guys are 2-14 and one of those hits was a fluke...

Rondon entered today's game 6th in MLB in FIP among relievers at 0.76. The reliever who is third place on that list, Kelvin Herrera, is one the Royals would like to trade this year... possible bullpen upgrade for Stros.

The guys we count on to hit aren't hitting. Sorry, I know it isn't cool around these parts to defend the lesser players (even though they were vital to our success last year). My bad! |

He basically was a 5.00 to 5.50 ERA pitcher in the minors. Was rushed through AAA.
