I've been thinking that since Anita Martini won her invasion law suit. But the appropriate response would have been to make the locker room off limits to all reporters like the women's tennis group, not parade around in their birthday suits in some macho attempt to intimidate the "ladies.". There has been video on the internet this season of Verlander walking around totally nude in full view of the camera while reporters were interviewing another player just feet away. I am sure Daniella has instructed Carlos not to follow Verlander's example.  |

If our own hometown paper has multiple reporters confirming the story, it's hard to believe there isn't more to it. I don't think it's anything insidious the way SI is making out to be. I think it was just a drunk guy that thought he was being funny and f*cked up. The Chronicle has never been a hometown newspaper and has always been sleazy with sleazy reporters just waiting for the opportunity to stir up trouble. |

My own opinion is if female reporters are determined to be in the locker room, every player there should strip down nude, take a long sbowerk, and drip dry in front of them. Give them all a good view and tell them to feel free to take pictures.
Don't force yourself into the locker room and then be offended by what you see or hear...this whole issue is bullshit and most people don't care.

So the FO finally came out and said what they should have said to begin with. "One drunk guy messed up. It wasn't intended the way it is being portrayed. We love women and empowerment blah blah blah." They look worse saying it was fabricated... As I said earlier, we are not getting the whole story. I'd still bet the guy was trolled, and fired back in a way that he knew would piss the bitch off. |
